There were egg shells in my sandwich. The owner who's at the register was rude. I will never eat from this restaurant again!!!!

I've been coming here for breakfast for more than 20 years and it's still my favorite breakfast sandwich.

Great breakfasts and coffees, but the lunch by weight is a bit pricey.
I’ve only gone for coffee and have been disappointed both times. After living in Miami for 10 years I was disappointed that this place can’t make a Cuban coffee. They don’t add sugar. And the one gentleman lied about not having cinnamon. Thankfully I saw where the lady put it the day before and I was able to prove my knowledge that they did have cinnamon. Will certainly look for another coffee location in the area.
This place gotta Run out of bussiness with its Rididulous Prices!! Those price are insanly High when the gets weight, I only put a Sweet Potato and 2 sushis and to my surprice it turned into $20.32 when it was

Beware the lady will charge your card extra if you are not paying attention!
I come to this place in the morning. It is disjointed. There is a sushi place to the right. To the left of the sushi is a coffee place. Up the stairs they have a good bar but also a grill where they make hot food items. It is frustrating when you have to pay twice for the food at the upstairs register and the coffee at the downstairs. They have yet to provide a better system. Both the grill and coffee place has lines. You have to go to one location at a time. Then pay downstairs for the coffee. Or if you wait long enough for the food you can bring the bag down to the coffee place and pay for both. I was disappointed this morning that they have yet to find a better system. This is the only fee places that actually makes decent coffee but I might to have another place me in the morning for the inefficient way they make the customer go up and down and pay twice at for the same place.

One of the longest holdouts of the L'Enfant Promenade. It's been in a couple of different locations but it has stood the test of time. The portions are generous. Quite a variety, as well.

Best alternative to chain fast food inside L'Enfant.A typical breakfast & lunch grill, plus espresso bar, plus sushi bar, plus pay-by-weight hot & cold buffet. Staff are nice, efficient, ambitious, and above par for hygiene. 3 star difficulty, 4 star execution. But it's 4 business in 1.They've been better than most about pandemic safety. Well masked, and always asked customers to do so also. Looks like they've closed their dining area (?). Paused self service beverage (looks like they're bringing back limited buffet). For a while, they did the cooking in the back kitchen, but they're back on the line out front again. Offices are still largely on telework and tourism is down. Otherwise, it would crowd easily.L'Enfant mall does not have good air flow, so it might feel a little close in the best of times.
I often stop at their mall location, to pick up sushi to go for my wife. Their hallway mall location (along the corridor) is where I stop at.They're quick to make what I order, and they have a nice selection of drinks to go along with whatever you've ordered. As far as I know, they're the only sushi establishment in the L'Enfant Plaza area. The actual inside restaurant itself I haven't eaten at, so I can't speak of that with any personal knowledge.
I work close to the building this establishment is located. Like others have mentioned the atmosphere is odd and can be perceived as hostile, or curt to others. I have visited this place a couple of time to make sure I was not bashing it for one visit. Now, to be honest, I've only gotten breakfast, so I am not sure about the lunch hour. There is a variety of food to choose from, but beware....YOU WILL PAY for that food! You get your food, walk up to the cashier and put your food on the scale and the price for the smallest container is ridiculous. Also, the food is VERY salty (all sausage/corned beef hash); it is so salty after one bite you cannot finish eating the food.
It’s fantabulous
Good food if you get there before 1:00 p.m.
