They have very good food but limited options. It is a nice place located in Union Market and it's the only restaurant there that you can eat at tables. The service was not overly friendly but very attentive.

Best Belgium beer (and food) in DC. Recommend the Thai mussels with frites and a chamey or a triple.

They are so nice. Incredible mussels, excellent beer on tap. Reservations are a good idea.

Best eating experience I've had in DC. Yes, it's a bit of a dive spot - a hole in the wall with literal holes in the walls - but the food here is pure bliss. The menu is small but that's part of what makes it so good - you're here for the mussels, the frites (fries), and Belgian beer.

Really cute & cozy bar with great happy hour deals. The food generally was awesome, but the wings were sooo good (the fries were also incredible). Had lovely chat with Andre and the person running the food (didn’t catch their name). Awesome people! Will be back :)

Sadly this place is fading. Granville Moore’s remains one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. In the late 2000s, this place had a 2-3 hour wait, and it was worth it. The food, drinks, service and vibes were a 10/10. I recently went back for the first time post-pandemic, and it’s just sad to see. The food is still good. They didn’t have about half of the beers they advertised. I was told “just order what on tap” by the bartender (as opposed to asking what bottles from the menu they had available). Even then, about half the kegs on tap were kicked. The bar and wait staff seemed more interested in watching the cartoons they had playing above the bar than engaging with patrons. I hope this place can hold on and turn the corner, but it’s looking more and more like their time has passed. I just felt sad when I left.

This is my favorite bar in DC. Burgers are outstanding if you want the bigger more American type burger compared to say a smash burger. The fries are excellent, and the beers are the best in the city. Duvel is the greatest beer ever, no one else pours them this good!

It's a hole in the wall but best mussels you're ever going to find outside of Belgium.

This place has ruined mussels for me because they are that good! I can't order mussels anywhere else because I'm always disappointed. Great beer selection as well. Highly recommend the happy hour that features a smaller portion of the mussels that still fills you up. Don't forget the frites and sauces! Excellent, friendly service and I really dig the music too. Great place to meet for a drink and a snack or full meal.

Amazing service. Cory and his coworker were amazing on 1/31/2025. I don’t remember the last time I got as friendly service as I did tonight. And all we got was drinks and apps. Absolutely recommend this place.
