Sadly this place is fading. Granville Moore’s remains one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. In the late 2000s, this place had a 2-3 hour wait, and it was worth it. The food, drinks, service and vibes were a 10/10. I recently went back for the first time post-pandemic, and it’s just sad to see. The food is still good. This is my favorite bar in DC. Burgers are outstanding if you want the bigger more American type burger compared to say a smash burger. The fries are excellent, and the beers are the best in the city. Duvel is the greatest beer ever, no one else pours them this good!
This place has ruined mussels for me because they are that good! I can't order mussels anywhere else because I'm always disappointed. Great beer selection as well. Highly recommend the happy hour that features a smaller portion of the mussels that still fills you up. Don't forget the frites and sauces! Excellent, friendly service and I really dig the music too. Great place to meet for a drink and a snack or full meal.
