Best eating experience I've had in DC. Yes, it's a bit of a dive spot - a hole in the wall with literal holes in the walls - but the food here is pure bliss. The menu is small but that's part of what makes it so good - you're here for the mussels, the frites (fries), and Belgian beer.
Really cute & cozy bar with great happy hour deals. The food generally was awesome, but the wings were sooo good (the fries were also incredible). Had lovely chat with Andre and the person running the food (didn’t catch their name). Awesome people! Will be back :)
Sadly this place is fading. Granville Moore’s remains one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. In the late 2000s, this place had a 2-3 hour wait, and it was worth it. The food, drinks, service and vibes were a 10/10. I recently went back for the first time post-pandemic, and it’s just sad to see. The food is still good.
