I had trouble finding the entrance (it is in the front of the building). We came here for a birthday. It was really cold for many parts of the dinner and I was not super comfortable. The food was amazing. For the amount I paid, however, it was not comparable to some of the other dining experiences I have had in DC/ Baltimore. Overall, I enjoyed it here. The best part is the service, lovely people who are clearly invested in creating a good experience. But unfortunately my family's experience was a teeny bit disappointing. There was a mistake with the menus (one had slightly different offerings and no printed upcharges, making us confused), a server switch, and a dietary preference was forgotten. These aren't too big of deals but altogether left us feeling a little wonky. The food was fine...
My husband and I loved our experience at Gravitas. We enjoyed the 4 course tasting with Virginia Linden Chardonnay. Matt and Payton’s service was delightful and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
