Greco is, without a doubt, the best Greek food I’ve ever tasted. The dishes are incredibly flavorful, with every bite transporting me straight to what I experienced when I visited Greece. I make it a point to visit this restaurant whenever I’m in the Georgetown area, as it never fails to impress.

What truly elevates the experience is the exceptional service. Mezker, in particular, is a standout. He greets me with a warm, welcoming smile every time and goes above and beyond to ensure I have a fantastic dining experience. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality make each visit even more special. I’d give him a well-deserved 5 stars for his impeccable service. Greco has become a must-visit spot for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking authentic and delicious Greek cuisine.

Be careful with this location. They over charge you and then they don't want to refund you for the overcharge.

Pretty overpriced and food is just ok. The service is great though!

Way to pricey and for the food itself. Ask for a plate which was listed for about $15 and told it included the protein. I order lamb and suddenly it was $20. At any moment I was told this was extra so I was troubled by the sudden rise.. I asked and was told only chicken and pork are within the $15 price range... I ate it anyway but was disappointed with the platter itself... DIG around the corner IS MUCH BETTER

Not a bad joint at all but could do better with the pricing. A bit too pricey for the sandwich. Also, I wanted to order the beef gyro and the meet isn’t fresh. They showed me a piece of frozen meet patty and told me it’ll take a bit more time to make. So, I went ahead with lamb gyro, but then they charged me extra $3.50, making the price of the sandwich a bit more expensive.

Food was simply okay, I wouldn’t say it worth going all the way to Georgetown for, but if u are in the area it’s not a bad place to go. I had the lamb chops platter and the veggies and olives were super fresh, but I would have preferred for the fries to be fresh as well, especially since we had to wait about 15 for the dish. The lamb chops were just okay, but not great as it’s didn’t have much flavor. Had halloumi as well, and it would have been great if it had been grilled before serving as the outside of mine was warm but the inside was cold. The doughnut was pretty good and the staff were really nice! Really liked the seating area, lots of sunlight!

Gorgeous restaurant but the food was quite bad. The fries were cold and the vegan meatball tasted more like what I expect plant based spam to taste like. It wasn’t a meatball at all. The rice was very wet and the eggplant had an unsavory texture. Definitely not an authentic Greek experience at all but the slaw was decent. Also, everything required an up-charge. My order only came with one topping, everything else was extra. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Mixed feelings. The staff was great! They seemed happy, which makes me feel like my food tastes better when someone who is happy made it. My chicken gyro tasted fine. Nothing special, but the tzatziki was flavorful, which is wonderful. I’m grateful they let me put the fries to the side, which was the perfect little taste. Only complaint is that I ordered avgolemono and it was almost all broth and mushy bits of orzo. No chicken whatsoever. I think maybe the server doesn’t know to scoop soup from the bottom. Something to look out for! I have some chicken at home and can doctor up the soup for a lunch later this week.

I had lunch today at this new and modern restaurant in Georgetown and I have to say that it was amazing!Me and my husband had pork gyros with tzatziki sauce and fries wrapped in pita and we just loved it!! Coming this from a Greek as I am, gives an extra star to the food as I think it was one of the best Greek food I have ever tasted in USA. The waiters were very polite and helpful. The manager, Mez, was very friendly and at the end of our meal he offered us a free little treat called Loukoumades which are Greek little donuts covered in honey, nuts and cinnamon. We were also surprised that we were listening to Greek music while eating which added a little something to our overall experience at this restaurant. I highly recommend it for a delicious meal!!
