truly a music lovers haven, it is a local GEM! this place has amazing jazz with a steady stream of musicians walking in throughout the night. the crowd was locked in and they played a range of both instrumental and vocal jazz the night we came. you can tell this place is well loved with the regulars that come in. the staff and owner are so friendly and make the space feel so welcoming! it truly feels like a down to earth spot for musicians to collab and the audience is lucky to enjoy it.

extremely reasonably priced for the great music, just a $10 self enforced minimum. the drinks and pizza we got were all solid too. couldnt recommend it enough, and please support and tip the band so this place thrive and keep live jazz going in the district! i will definitely be back 🎶

Everyone was kind and service was great but for some reason the place smelled really bad yesterday like mold (in the front) and urine (towards the bar and bathrooms). Not even to be mean, more like a heads up because the place is really nice.

I was craving an espresso martini and ordered the Ella on a whim- to my surprise it was a Bailey’s drink!? Serendipity 🙈 I love the vibes here. The musicians are so talented, and the owner and staff were very welcoming. I do wish they had some sort of partition to keep the cool air from coming inside, and it would be nice if there was more room to dance or move around. Still, I would highly recommend coming here to listen to jazz and have delicious drinks!

The Live Jazz music is really good, food was OK but long wait time because they're busy and customer in and out the whole time which is not bad. I really enjoy the music and you can support the band by tip in cash, Venmo and Paypal.

I will say I love that they have live jazz in the city. Jazz is honestly best experienced in person. The band was great and the bartender was super friendly. Now logistically the place is a bit confusing. There are no signs saying green island cafe outside so kind of have to just know it’s there. And I thought maybe there was a name change but the menus inside said green island cafe. But finding places on 18th is a challenge for everyone.Drinks were good but I don’t think they sell food. Or at least they didn’t yesterday. There is a $10 minimum per person
