Stopped in for lunch and got the 3 tacos ? for $15. I had the mushroom, chicken, and braised beef tacos. My favorite was the braised beef! The strawberry limeade and salsa w/chips were solid as well. Next time, I'll try the queso.

Super disappointed i was excited to try the food. Three tacos for $20 is expensive especially when it doesn't come with rice or anything. I bought them against better judgement. BAD idea they were well presented but tasted horrible not seasoned at all. The only thing I could taste was pico de Gallo. As far as tacos I would say try next door to them cause taco citys tacos are not good!

I recently tried Taco City DC, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Maybe it was just an off night, but everything tasted bland, unremarkable, and definitely not worth the price. The chips seemed like they were a day or two old, lacking any of the crunch and freshness you’d expect. I ordered the crab quesadilla, which was almost flavorless, and the $14 guacamole had visible brown spots, making it unappetizing. It was the mushy liquidy kind, not the chunky kind. I han hate the liquidy kind. Bleh. They doused it with tomatoes and cogito cheese which didn’t help it at all. The Mexican black beans were another disappointment—al dente to the point that it seemed like they hadn’t been cooked long enough.
The restaurant was super empty when I arrived, so I thought I’d be getting freshly made food, but that just wasn’t the case. On a positive note, the pick-up process was seamless, and the staff was friendly. However, the food really needs some help to match the price point and the menu’s promise. Right now, it’s just not delivering in terms of taste or quality. I hope they can improve, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t be rushing back anytime soon.

I arrived today around 8:00, but the door was locked despite there being people inside. I called to let them know I was outside, but they did not answer. It’s frustrating that there’s no way to place an order if they are closed when they’re supposed to be open.

First time patronizing via UBEREATS. I wanted seafood tacos so ordered shrimp and lump crab tacos. The shrimp was best overall; however, I didn’t like the tortillas for either. The texture was chewy, somewhat tasted stale, which is probably how the tortillas come prepared but I didn’t like it.
I would patronize again but in person so that I can request different tortillas.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and drinks and very kind wait staff. Will be back!

AMAZING restaurant! I have eaten here numerous times over the past few years and every time the food has been fantastic. I've tried most things on the menu and have loved them all, especially the tacos and flan! Whether I eat in, or order to go, the quality and taste is always great! Everyone at the restaurant is also so kind and even helped me plan a small surprise for my dad on Father's day (thank you again)!!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food, environment, (and my dad's favorite part) the drinks!
