🥬 Menu Options for Vegans: * 7 breakfast items clearly marked Vegan * 5 desserts marked Vegan! * Most lattes & coffee drinks could easily be made vegan! * Staff was really nice & someone accidentally took my drink before I could get to the counter to grab it & they happily made me a new one 🍽️ What I Ordered: * Vegan Burrito * Almond Milk Latte * Coconut Almond Bites 🌿 Food Review: * I usually don't eat a lot of "fake meat" type of foods, but this burrito was perfect to start the day, not too much meat flavor, and warm - we were freezing! * The coconut almond bites were so delicious & are made with ONLY 5 INGREDIENTS! * Warm latte & quick breakfast on the go was just what we needed ⭐ Expectations vs. Reality:
 * I wasn't sure if there would be much for us, and the pictures on here didn't do it justice, in my opinion. But it was a surprising win for us! 🧭 Would I Come Back?

Gregory’s is my go to spot and it’s all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Makkiyyah. She truly makes every visit special! Always engaging, cordial, and with a warm smile on her face, she creates a welcoming environment that keeps me coming back. What stands out the most is her attentiveness to customers needs. From the moment I step into the coffee house she not only greets me with enthusiasm but also remembers my order. It’s such a personal touch— I absolutely love it! Makkiyyah goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a great experience.

Her exceptional customer service and dedication make her a true gem of Gregory’s. I highly recommend this coffee shop and want to give a big shout out to Makkiyyah for making it such an enjoyable experience

Been here a couple times, usually it takes a while to get my order even with only 2-3 people ahead of me. Today I ordered the seasonal cherry blossom drink, the taste was fine, but there was way too much ice.

Not to mention, the drink lids are not properly sealed, and I realized that after taking every sip, a few drops would spill onto my shirt, making a mess. Even after cleaning around the cup and lid, it continued to leak.

Cute spot. Coffee was fine. Staff were exceptional. Friendly and prompt. I live too far away to come back regularly but I would stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood.

This place is dirty and they can’t serve any food because their ovens are broken.

Came here after getting rejected at the National Gallery of Art because it was closed for some reason (some lame excuse about the inauguration of a new president or something, who knows). It was cold, rainy and we needed a place to sit down, grab a cub of coffee and warm up for a little bit.

In comparison to the other coffee shops that you can find in D.C., Gregorys falls right in the middle. Is it better than your average Starbucks or museum coffee shop where a latte will cost you $13 and a donation? Yes. But, is it better than the other speciality coffee shops that are scattered around the area? No.

Gregorys feels like it's trying to sit in the middle of a couple of worlds. On the outside, it looks like it should be a cool coffee shop. It's got modern branding, the layout is open and they've got a groovy espresso machine prominently placed on the counter. Cool.

But at the same time, they also offer a ton of food options, like more than a coffee shop typically would and they were blasting contemporary music. None of those things is bad, just not really what I was expecting and was a little bit jarring. The food and drinks themselves were fine. I just ordered an espresso for myself and I found it expensive and average.

On top of that, the staff was just not very nice. They were all wearing masks, which was fine, but made them almost impossible to hear and they'd get frustrated when you asked them to repeat themselves. I literally had to say to the cashier, "I CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!" Like I was 90 years old or something.

All in all, it wasn't a bad experience, just not somewhere I'd choose to go again considering all the other options that are around.

No half & half on a Tuesday morning. Why not send someone down the street to buy some? Croissant was stale and expensive.

I got the salted caramel cold brew. However, it tasted more like toffee and I barely tasted the coffee. It was too sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was good though. But I wouldn’t come here if you really like coffee 🫠.
