Solidly reliable good Mexican food and margaritas. Not high end or fancy but delicious and good for groups.

Excellent server; good food. We were seated outside, under a speaker, and it was a tad loud. No other criticisms!

Out of the other Guapo's locations I've been on this for been the worths with food quality location, ambience and experience wasn't what I expected food was pretty mid enough to eat 

Guapo's is our favorite restaurant. There is nothing like it anywhere. The chips are unbelievable, so thin and crispy and warm. The guacamole is unbelievable, really the best we've ever had anywhere. The two different sauces they give you are fantastic, I love the roasted one and my husband loves the pico de gallo. The food is delicious. The service is great. We come back here week after week, month after month, year after year. It's really great.

Chicken tinga tacos are very good. Corn tortillas are 'hard Shell but very good.

I found small pieces of GLASS in my food.

Yesterday, I ordered a cheviche to go from Guapos in Tenleytown, and when I was at home eating I started to feel something weird in my mouth, and trying to figure it out what it was. I had to take it out of my mouth to see what it was and it was glass!

I can't believe I almost swallowed it. Imagine if I hadn't noticed it and swallowed it! I could die because of that!

Please don't go there and if you do, be really careful with what you put in your mouth, specially if you go with kids. I will never put a foot in that place ever again.

If you’re a horse, saddle up cause you’re going to love this salt-lick of a meal? Medieval friars have lost their left arm for less salt than you can get in one meal here! 4 stars. Also if your name is Amy and you’re probably between the ages of 30-40ish, maybe younger. Four of your friends were having lunch/dinner and spent at least an hour talking about how much they don’t like you - one of them is going to “have a tough conversation with you”, so if you’re seeing this and that happened just FYI. they talked so long they actually STAYED after the check and talked longer!!! Which is crazy because I felt like the service was trying to rush us out.

We always love going here and even though yesterday (Cinco de Mayo) was probably their busiest day of year, we had great service and food!

This is a really great, upbeat neighborhood restaurant We went there on Cinco de Mayo so it was a little noisier than usual, but fun and the service was good.

Can't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant, the food, attentive service, and decor are a must-go when visiting DC.

Service, ambience/vibe, choice of music is exactly what you want from a genuine Mexican place. Quality of both food and drinks are on the upper shelves, and at the reasonable price level this is fire sure 5 stars ⭐️
