Approach with caution. The bill didn't add up - they overcharged for the meal. And then they left out one of the 2 items on the takeout order. The food was very good although portions were on the small side. Plenty of injera.

No complaints from me :) Nice and new. Wheelchairs can get in through the back from M St. We were early for dinner, so the only ones when we got there, but it started getting busier while we were there. Wonderful service. They were friendly and explained the menu. The food was the best part: incredibly delicious variety, healthy, and filling. Lots of options eaten by picking up with injera bread. There are lots of different spices, and they made some dishes less spicy for someone in our group who couldn't eat spicy foods.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can get in through the back from M St.
A modern take on Ethiopian! My friend got the veggie platter and I got the lamb bowl. Everything was tasty and super fresh. The waitress was incredible and even snapped a few photos of us during our lunch per our request. The inside is modern, bright, and decorated with photos of Ethiopian landmarks and images. Prices are pretty decent for what you are getting and I will definitely return!

Very good food! I was a little nervous because it doesn’t have many reviews, and I saw the pictures and knew it wouldn’t be family-style, but this American who loves Ethiopian food was NOT disappointed. We had the lamb and three other vegetable dishes with enjera—and there was plenty of it! It was delicious—all of it. Of note: Some of the family I was traveling with do not like spicy at all, so just a heads up there are some spicy dishes, but if you ask for non-spicy I’m sure they can accommodate! (I enjoy spicy so I thought it tasted right on-point.) I highly recommend and will return when back in DC.Vegetarian options: Lentils are on the menu

I ate here and ordered 3 items but only received one. Halfway through my one dish, they said they will bring the other items in 15 minutes, after 15 minutes I inquired about the other dishes and the waiter went to check but now only one of the items was available. I canceled my other items and noticed that they were catering more to people who walked in and were ordering take out, not previously ordered but ordering right there. Two people ordered take out in the restaurant, after I was already sitting there waiting for 30 minutes, and they waited for their take out and got their food before mine which I was dining in, and my dishes all of a sudden were not available. Also very expensive $19 for doro wat with one chicken leg and one egg. I get several pieces of chicken in a doro wat at other places. Never coming back here.
