Don’t be fooled by the fact this place is located in a campus. This deli is by far the best I know in this part of the city. The prices for the sandwiches are extremely reasonable, the food is great and they serve you quick. They always make sure to give you a surprisingly good portion of fresh food per order. If you’re a student or a parent dropping off your kid, keep this deli as an option for a breakfast or lunch.

I’ve been working in the area for +8 years and you won’t find a better place to eat in Foggy Bottom for the price that GW Deli charges. If you like bacon bring an appetite, it’s every bit of a 1/4 lbs piled on a sandwich. They don’t skimp out on the sandwiches made there. They have a huge variety of drinks and snacks. I suggest you come during off hours though cause come breakfast and lunch hours the line is out the door and up the sidewalk, that alone should tell you how good the place is.

The bagel sandwich in this spot is top notch. I ordered salmon bagel, they definitely don’t hold back the amount of salmon in my bagel. Love it!
The staffs are super friendly and they’re so efficient (as sometimes the place gets little busy and packed). The price is absolutely affordable with huge portion of bagels. Definitely will come back!
