We had a lovely meal and tasted some beers at Hamilton's Bar & Grill. If I wasn't sure about a beer, I would get a taste to see if I liked the beer. The service was excellent! The food was of very good quality and we enjoyed it very much. It's worth coming back!

Experience started very poorly but improved. We were greeted by an unfriendly bartender who, although the restaurant was empty, refused to seat the two of us at a four top. He insisted we sit at a table for two backed against a wall with a TV overhead. This was during the Olympics, and we wanted to watch as we ate. If we weren't so hungry, we would have left. We sat at an outdoor table, with no AC or TV. The server was peoactive and good, and the food was delicious. So overall, I definitely would not rush back or highly recommend it. There were limited food choices within walking distance at 6:30 pm on a Saturday, so this did the job. (Plus, it is a cool name for a restaurant in DC.)
