Delicious little coffee house with in-house roasted beans. The cappuccino I got had quite an exquisite flavoring. I haven’t had one like this that remember and I quite like it. There was no line when I was in there and a few people sitting around enjoying the music and mood. I’ll come back if I’m in the area again!

It's a small coffee shop and Roastery. The coffee is excellent, and it is worth stopping by just for that. They have a limited set of pastries and a small seating area, mostly indoors, if you would like to stop and enjoy. Play also sell a number of Beverages and different small items, but they are not a full grocery.

Parking: It's on a short block on Georgia avenue, it makes sense to park on one of the side streets.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step entering the shop, as well as a fairly tight entryway to the counter. Might be difficult for a wheelchair.

I was initially drawn to the place because of its relaxing atmosphere and pleasant music, which create a lovely vibe. However, my experience didn't quite meet my expectations, particularly given the establishment's focus on coffee.

One point for improvement would be their espresso offerings. Despite having a variety of coffee beans available, they currently provide only one roast for espresso. Expanding this selection could really enhance the experience for coffee enthusiasts. When I ordered a latte, I found it to be served quite hot and a bit overly bitter, which made it less enjoyable. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the staff to ask customers whether they prefer their drinks to-go or to enjoy in-house, as this small gesture can significantly improve the overall service experience.

In summary, while Harrar Coffee & Roastery offers a nice place to unwind, there are areas for improvement in both the coffee selection and customer service. If you’re seeking a more tailored coffee experience, you might want to explore other options.

Great authentic Ethiopian coffee experience. We even got to see roasting done in house. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Don’t forget a snack as the pastries taste delicious.

Delicious coffee. Always get the cold brew, and it’s consistently full bodied, not bitter, and smooth. Drink it with or without dairy and sweetener because it has a complex flavor of its own. Truly a delightful find as far as coffee shops in the area of town go.
