The one on Georgia Avenue is the only one that I have visited only open on specific days of the week annoyingly food is good drinks are very reasonable ?

I’ve been here 3times before last night but it was over a decade ago I ordered 2pork and cheese papusas and they were so nasty smh I’m from Va Arlington to be exact and they call that lil elsalvador on Columbia pike yet I lived all over the dmv so I know food and the Papusa was stinky they were dry and oily in some spots it tasted like a grill cheese more than a papusa they were open late n I was craving some

Haydee’s restaurant on Georgia ave was amazing, nothing too crazy but the food was amazing. We came in on karaoke night and the vibe was very nice. Met the owner of the restaurant very friendly and humble woman. Service was topnotch.

This is an old school DC spot that sooo damn good. Drinks on point music great. Food reasonably priced. All these new places can learn a thing a two from Haydees.

I didn't order any food but my margarita was good. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Karaoke was super fun!

My favorite cozy spot for a drink and fiesta platter

Went there with a group of friends late at night, when almost all other restaurants in the area were closed. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was tasty. They had great music playing and the ambiance was nice. Would definitely recommend this place!

For one I use to like this place, the food was fresh my only complaint was it did not have enough seasoning I always had to add my own seasoning to my meal. But lately they are falling off and now I see why the food was missing salt because they put so much of it in the drinks. I ordered a margarita and that thing was a salt bomb!!!!!! Totally undrinkable I felt my blood pressure instantly shoot through the roof in there. But the next time I ordered to go the chicken was soooo hard and dried out the veins in the chicken was very visible, stiff, and black. I immediately took it back without eating any of it, and she had a nerve to have an attitude saying that's how all her chicken is served and then she blame me because I bring it back 30 minutes after I picked it up. Never again!!!! They are serving old food to people and she gets upset when you say something. Eat here at your own risk
