Great soul food carryout. Definitely a gem in DC, well known by many all over the city. Doesn't matter if you are going for breakfast or lunch you are definitely in for a treat.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a couple of months now. And the ladies Ms Sue and Ms Angie are sweet hearts. I always get the beef stew. The best in the city. The chicken wings are good too. Fried to perfection. The breakfast is superb!
The place closes at 5pm. I got there after 4pm.
I ordered turkey wings with collard greens and rice. The turkey wings were overcooked. The collard greens had some stems. It's carryout only. I never saw the turkey wings until it was too late to return it.
