The food here is great. Unfortunately, the service left me and my guest cold. The waiter finally appeared and took our order only to disappear. Our food came and again the waiter disappeared behind the bar. I had to go over to the bar and ask for the check and boxes. Highlands is not a bad place but the service has got to be better.

We arrived early to no crowd!! We usually go to the 14th street location..being it is walking distance from home. We decided to venture out to the 2nd location out Penn. Ave. The waiter was prompt, cordial and efficient. We both had fresh brewed hot coffee. We both had the Big Waffle Breakfast. The delicious waffle was served hot to melt the butter! My companion complemented the waiter by saying the entire meal with bacon and eggs were the hottest (temp) served in a restaurant!!

Service was on point! My waiter was ALBERT! NOT ALBERTO...CTFUUU I loved his friendly attitude, and even gave conversation.. u know what, Albert just forgot my food I asked for to go, but it's cool, if I get my free lemon drop! Lls shame on him....? update: I got my lemon drop yall! So Albert is good lol but for real the food is EXCELLENT!! THANKS ALBERT!??
