We recently went to Highlight Bar to watch the Mike Tyson vs. Logan Paul fight, attracted by their Eventbrite listing, which promised free lemon drop shots from 10 to 11 PM. However, when we asked the bartender about the promotion, they were completely unaware of it. After some back-and-forth, the manager informed us that the promotion was not valid, despite it being explicitly advertised.
This experience felt like false advertising, which left us disappointed and ultimately led to us leaving. If you’re going to promote specials to draw people in, it’s important to honor them or at least ensure your staff is informed. Unfortunately, this left a bad taste in our mouths, and we likely won’t be returning.
