Hill East Burger makes one of the best burgers I have ever had. The smash burgers are flavorful and fresh. The curly fries are nearly perfect as a French fry. The service is friendly. The restaurant is small, but a fun place to eat.

Chicken nuggets were raw inside, fries smelled like old oil and the burger was dry. No service at all. This place seriously needs a health inspection.

Went with my three year old and I Have to say the folks here are the most kind and thoughtful staff. Food came quick and was delicious. Also they have a family hour where kids meals are half off. Would highly recommend.

Stopped in here after a long, hot day of walking around. Burgers were fantastic, varied beer selection, drinks were excellent. Get the curly-ish fries - unique with a perfect fry consistency. No other notes, go get it.

Everything is ridiculously overpriced and the auto service fee is an insult. I understand the need to raise prices due to inflation but when you're raising prices because you're not making what you think you are due to low volume you're just being shitty...

...so when volume picks up you'll drop prices? I doubt it. Accept lesss profit because there's just less people coming in and don't punish your loyal customers/regulars. I'm going to find another place. Stop playing viticm and stop being lazy and figure out how to get more butts in seats. It's ashame because for the most part I like this place but I won't come here to be taken advantage of. Everyone's making less nowadays. Get off your entitlement.

I would do a review video on them but it would mess up this hidden gem! Everytime we eat there the food is consistently great and the service is consistently great. In my opinion as a big man lol this is one of the best burger joints in the DMV.

We loved this place. Not far from our Airbnb. Burgers were wonderful. Service was great. We loved being able to seat our selves as my husband has paid and finding a place comfortable to him is always a plus. Ordering on the app was quick and easy and very customizable. Our food came out quickly. The atmosphere is calm laid back. We will eat there again before leaving DC!
