I absolutely love poke bowls, and I can say with certainty that Hilo has some of the most consistent in DC! The ingredients always are fresh. However what makes the place really shine is the staff! They are always so welcoming and have even given me complimentary miso soup before, even though I don’t come nearly enough for them to recognize me. Please consider coming and supporting them, since there’s a lot of competition on that strip of restaurants and rent must be pretty...
Great food, drinks, and experience. Came here for a birthday dinner and it was a lovely experience. The hospitality was superb, and I will definitely be back! Happy Hour specials are also well priced, and the drinks are house-created recipes (no surprise - they were great!).
I love Hilo Poke! I discovered it about a month ago on tiktok, and have been coming back every weekend for happy hour. The food is great, and the prices are amazing! The staff is also amazing!
