Pizza was super flavorful but it was basically cold when we received it. Service was not great, I think they lost our order or forgot about us which is why it took so long and was cold when it got to us. Every time I saw an employee they were on their phone. They also told us they couldn’t make any of the cocktails on the menu. I was tempted to go downstairs and order the drink myself and bring it back to the rooftop lol. Vibe was just odd. There were 3 people at the rooftop bar when we first came up but service was spotty and we had a new person every time. Views were great on the rooftop.

Just a amazing hotel with a very trendy rooftop bar. It's also within walking distance to the Lincoln memorial and other surrounding memorials. Amazingly friendly staff who went above and beyond in my opinion. If I ever visit DC again, I'll definitely stay here. There is a great pizza shop attached and they do the most delicious pizzas.

Hive Bar is such a cool, vibrant spot with a great energy—you can tell it’s a favorite for both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is lively without being too loud, making it a perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy a fun night out.The cocktail menu is creative and well-crafted; I tried a couple of their signature drinks and loved how balanced and flavorful they were. The bartenders were friendly and really knew their stuff, which made the experience even better.

Would be way nicer if there was actually a bar on the rooftop “bar.” They don’t sell any liquor up there, just frozen margaritas… and 2 can cutwater brand drinks. Music is a little dated, but not bad at all. Definitely easy to talk and hear. View is beautiful!!!!! Bartender was very nice and attentive. Pizza 10/10! My only qualm would be the disappointing drink menu and the atmosphere could be way more lively. Practically empty!

Great cozy vibe. Not sure I get the point all that much anymore. Seems like they scaled back their food and drink options. So now it’s pizza from the first floor, that you can get yourself for probably cheaper (didn’t check the bill but there was an up charge somewhere). A few local beers on tap or a few canned cocktails. But again the rooftop was nice and cozy, so I guess if you just want a hang out spot.

You need to wait for a while for someone to come and serve at the bar. Ask for alcohol and they put half can with ice for 10 bucks. If I can give 0 I would, needs management change asap.

If I could give I would give 0.
We waited for bar tender to show up for 20 min at the bar. When I asked for a can of Margarita he just filled up a glass with ice and put a little from the can. I asked for the rest of the can as well he said he can’t give me the can. That’s very disrespectful and absurd. I’m paying for drinks that are poured from someone else’s can or

Hive Bar inside Hotel Hive is one of my favorite hidden gems in Foggy Bottom. Great craft cocktails, friendly staff, and delicious &pizza pies make it perfect for a casual night out. The rooftop lounge and cozy lobby seating give it a stylish yet relaxed vibe—definitely worth a visit

Today was my first visit to The Hive Bar with a few friends. We started at the first-floor bar where Fee served us. She was super friendly, provided fast service, and the flatbreads were absolutely delicious. We really appreciated the experience there.

We ended our visit at the rooftop bar, which had a great location and an amazing view. Unfortunately, the drink service was disappointing. I ordered a lime mojito with light ice, but instead of a freshly made cocktail, the bartender filled the cup with ice and poured in half of a canned Cutwater beverage. It wasn’t what I ordered, and it tasted awful.

Next time I visit, if Fee isn’t there, I probably won’t be either.

We flew from Florida to DC for a wedding, decided to come her for a roof top bar experience. The staff at the bar didn’t greet us or acknowledged us while we were in front of them for five minutes. We asked if we could order there and the young woman just nodded, we asked a few questions and she kept nodding or pointing as if she was mute. We ordered drinks and proceeded to sit on a high table to check out the views. I brought my strawberry vape and someone came all the way from the bar to rudely say I couldn’t smoke in there. There are no signs that say no smoking anywhere but I obeyed. All while the table across from us had four young gentleman vaping and they never told them anything. Either make everyone follow the rules or don’t pick and choose who gets to do that. Maybe because I’m Latina I was targeted? but it felt like a personal attack.
The few cocktails I was interested in turned out to be frozen sugary overpriced crap.
Thanks for the welcome. Never again.
