I came here all the time for brunch and happy hour. This will be my last. They reduced the brunch menu and the quality of food has gotten bad. I will not be returning. There’s a lot of places near by I suggest trying those instead.

I have been a couple times. The food was better the second time. But what I find really annoying is the lack of transparency with pricing. I ordered an iced tea and got a refill and the guy charged me for two teas, which was $8. Then there was a mandatory automatic tip (which I didn't know about) which came to $5 and change. Then they asked for an additional tip on top of that. The tea was not even good and paying $8 plus tip for a fountain drink was pretty absurd. Then the automatic 20% tip plus asking for more tip after that is just ridiculous. All of this hassle for not very good Mexican food. I really just hate it and will not be going back.

I found this place to be outstanding. We made a family trip there after a sports practice for our child. The staff was friendly, warm, and looked like they took a lot of pride in this restaurant. Special attention was paid to our child and their food came out quickly. We ordered the bottomless brunch, food-only, to share and try out different things on the menu. We were not disappointed by anything. In general, the food came out fast and hot, and you could see the chef staff's attention to detail. The chicken and waffle was good. The french toast was excellent! The birria hash was good. The empanadas had a good bit of cheese, which tasted a little smoky and I was not expecting--if you are a big cheese fan, the dish will be excellent to you. The birria rancheros and chilaquiles felt like they may have needed salt or some sauce, but we discovered the sauce was more so layered on the bottom, instead of the top. That's literally the only thing we would probably change. The western omelet was very good, and had a taste that reminded us of pizza at times. The shrimp and grits were very good too, and I particularly enjoyed the coarse yellow grits they used.I am sure this place will eventually be very crowded, but it is a hidden gem right now that you should check out! Highly recommended.

This place was excellent. I really enjoyed the mango margarita and my group had a GREAT time. The food was exquisite, and it was a lovely place to dine with good friends. I recommend it for happy hour (!) or dinner. Lovely use of the space, and I can't wait to come back and use the patio.

An overall great experience with great food. It seems like a place that would be lots of fun to go to with a group for dinner. There is a platform with a keyboard so perhaps there are performers. Otherwise, the service was fantastic as my server was friendly and helpful. Food also came out promptly but my smoky margarita took a while (but it was quite good). Unfortunately, they were out of their house-made spicy marg mix which I was looking forward to for Happy Hour. Regardless, the mushroom taco was an easy 4.5/5 while the cauliflower taco was a 4/5. The chili was great it was a solid 4.7/5. Definitely worth the visit and bring a group for Happy Hour/dinner for the best experience (I’d assume).

The wings were very tasty. Happy hour prices are very affordable. So are the regularly priced menu items. It can be a bit noisy when sitting outside but you’re also on Georgia Ave so it’s not surprising. The staff member King was very pleasant and helpful and attentive. I didn’t feel that from the rest of the staff. I kinda felt like a burden to the rest of the staff. Otherwise, the place was great. Oh! And clean bathroom!!! ??

Very slow. Badly understaffed. The ceviche is excellent. Some tacos are good. Some are pretty bland. Disappointed in the shrimp. Not much flavor, but plenty of shrimp. Rice and beans had no discernible seasoning. Waited 10 minutes to see the waiter the first time. Waited another 30 minutes to get drinks. Another 30 minutes to get food. Second order of drinks never arrived. Waiter literally passed out on the floor from dehydration and exhaustion. Staff seemed indifferent. Customers tended to the waiter for 10 minutes before staff a showed up. New management might be a good idea.

I love Qualia Cantina rebirth and new hybrid pop up coffee cantina small biz collab model featuring snax/balconies/rooftops/ happy hour, bad bunny on repeat—more dc biznesses should go this route not to mention new name Qualia Cantina reminds one of the dearly departed Cantina Marina formerly of SW, except I guess Qualia Cantina is neither floating on the water nor is it on a dock, nor is it pretending to be a barge but all this is to say it could be, so why not??

This past Sunday was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was blown away by the customer service alone. The wait staff andthe young lady cleaning tables made me feel very welcome.Birria burgers was one of the best things I've had in years. I'm trying to figure out a way for me to sneak from Baltimore just to get another burger.

Very nice spot! We visited on last Sunday evening. So, brunch was over however they still had happy hour prices on some of the drinks and apps! I thoroughly enjoyed my tacos! And the guacamole, salsa and chips tasted very fresh. Enjoyed myself.

Came here for a Sofar show and was not disappointed. Very cozy space to have drinks with friends, grab a bite (the chicken quesadillas were exquisite), and see some local live music. They also have a back patio with couches and heaters which helps open up the space a bit.

First time in, while I'm a huge foodie and go out to restaurants a lot, I have to admit sometimes I'm a little tough since I spent some time in the industry. My thoughts: The service was on point, even though I was in a little tucked away table in the bartender had a full bar in front of him he still had perfect timing when I needed something. Had a margarita and a whiskey sour and they both were on point with fresh ingredients and because I am a connoisseur of them, I will say top 2 whiskey sours in DC. Def worth it 100%. Food came out fast w a gracious delivery, just did the lunch menu but it worked and was good. I interacted with several staff members and they were all attentive even during shift change. My expectations were met and exceeded. Will be exploring the dinner menu when I make it back. And I will be back and not just for the whiskey sours... Highly recommend!!

We come here at least once a week and they are by far the most friendly and professional staff in Petworth. If you pass this place up, you’re truly missing out.For the restaurant: Evan is the most personable person we’ve ever dined with. Give this man a raise and keep him!

Me and my Friend came here and had a BLAST. This was our first time here and we really didn't know what to expect but honestly we had the time of our lives we did brunch and the bottomless drinks. Our server's name was EVAN! he was the sweetest. Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He made the experience very enjoyable and his customer service...unmatched. So every time we come here were requesting him. The food was so good too, I had french toast and it was very good , that was probably one of my top five french toasts. Im coming back for sure

I’m so confused by the reviews lol it’s a joke. Food was served cold. Ordered salad king before my entree yet they came out together. After being dissatisfied with both I ordered wings that never came and was told 30 minutes later that they were out. The manager (who was taking shots and ignoring us the whole time) never came to check on us and was actually the one who served the starter with the entrees. Just all around bad. Also, the queso is horrible. Are these paid reviews? Lol
