Great soul food for a reasonable price. The collard greens, yams, and fried fish were delicious. I wouldn't get the sandwiches again because the bread isn't good quality and it's basically low quality bread with almost no toppings
I notice that most places selling a piece of fish...actually are selling a piece of fish. Did the fish taste good. Yes, yes, yes. But let me draw your attention to the hush puppies. OMG. Those were the very best I've ever had. I can't explain it any better. Beyond perfection ? The tartar sauce is usually a disappointment when matched with a good fried fish. Well not here. Food quality just not the same as many years ago. Thought I'd be nostalgic and return to an old spot. Nothing special to ever return. Hush puppies fried to dark/hard. Candied Yams taste like canned. Disappointed but I tried.
