H&D never disappoints. The food is tasty. The cashier was friendly (a rarity these days). The cook was considerate in venting the container so the fried items stayed crispy. I (and many colleagues) were regulars at the Northeast location. I am so glad there is location so near me now.

Got the fish box with a side of Mac and cheese and everything was good, even down to the tartar sauce. Fish was perfectly seasoned, flakey, and meaty with a good crust and generous portions. Service was great, lady up from was very kind and the food came out as fast as it could for being made fresh.

Ima be honest the fish is the only thing this place good for the potatoe salad had vinegar in it and the greens had two much vinegar the Mac taste like bland noodle with no cheese it was just to sour and tangy for me it seems like they dumb vinegar on everything
When we pulled up looked liked the establishment was closed, it was open. We placed our order, I order trout dinner, collard greens and potatoe salad. The greens had a shimmy sour taste to them, the potato salad was sour tasting and the dressing was thick. The fish had a odd taste to it. I ate a little. Had the sides replaced with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. These sides were so-so. I ate part of it threw it in the trash. I was so disappointed with this establishment in Waldorf, MD. Especially since I was anticipating some delicious food that I usually receive. I should gave went to the location on Allentown Road. Now I know if there are no cars in the parking lot and no people don't go in.

I notice that most places selling a piece of fish...actually are selling a piece of fish. Did the fish taste good. Yes, yes, yes. But let me draw your attention to the hush puppies. OMG. Those were the very best I've ever had. I can't explain it any better. Beyond perfection ? The tartar sauce is usually a disappointment when matched with a good fried fish. Well not here. Not only was the fish good, but the tartar sauce exceeded the fish in taste only making the meal better. I'm going back today.

Walking towards the entrance, I saw that there were no lights on in this establishment. But the open sign was lit up, so I checked to see if the door was open. Then I walked in to placed my order, the customer service was horrible! I told the cook I want a three-piece dinner plate and a six piece dinner plate. Then I told him my sides for the three-piece fish plate(greens) which comes with it and that I wanted a separate side of coleslaw. I was mocked for mixing up the names of a 3 piece fish plate, and the 6 piece fish dinner.The cook even yelled to the cashier, to verify the names of said menu items. The cook also asked another cook. It does say three-piece fish dinner on the menu doesn’t it?(sarcasm) Then he said I just need your fish order so I can cook it! She needs to know what sides you want, pointing to the cashier. The cashier raised her hands and said, ”well I’m helping these two customers”. “They were over there, talking”! The cashier was talking about myself and my mother who’s on the phone. “She was giving her order to you”, and she was saying all of this to The cook in my presence! Mind you I was on the phone with my mother she just said she wanted a six piece fish dinner. So while all of this is happening I was holding my cell phone my ear. But there was no talking! He did this as if I wasn’t there. Neither one of these employees tried to take a brief moment and really assist me with the names of the menu items. They just talked to me sarcastically, and mocked me while I tried to put in my order. I obviously wasn’t supposed to be ordering my food with the Cook. I am assuming the cashier was supposed to take the order. But I was never corrected. He took my order as if it was a part of his job. Needless to say, I just left! This just look like this was an argument waiting to happen about something as simple as an order of fish. I was not going to spend my money where the Customer Service was terrible! Also both employees looked like they had a long night of alcohol consumption or some vice. Weird!
