The best thing of this venue is the price! Price is actually affordable and reasonable based on the location and Washington DC itself. Food portion is large as America standard however it is too oily for my taste and it can be a fusion rather I would say true Hunan/Chinese cuisine. Atmosphere is the typical Chinese-next-door restaurant. Peking duck set is actually good.

Food is great. Tianjin Bao Zi are the best in the DC Metro area. Service is great. We tried three other dishes. I would give 4.5 out of five on all the dishes. For people who love Chinese food, try it.

Sometimes you need a greasy chinese place to calm the nerves after a long day, and hunan dynasty does just that. Insanely large portions, great deals on doordash ($10 orange chicken, the modern day $5). Great fish tank which I enjoy looking at. All other chinese places bow down to hunan, 4.1 at the time of review is DISRESPECTFUL. I will go here till I croak, I love you hunan.
