I absolutely adored this place. I got the Full I Egg You Breakfast and it was so much food and all tasted amazing! Eggs were cooked perfectly and fruit was so fresh. Servers were also really nice and the food came so quickly. Their hot chocolate is also really really good.

Great breakfast place. Hearty, imaginative. Whimsical without being annoying.

Sandwiches are great, Scotch egg is great. Puffin is good, worth a try.

Let me talk about the bacon steak.

8 oz of thick, smoky bacon and it comes with a delicious little egg thing.

It's great... but if I'm being honest, it's too much. There's no sides or flavors to break it up.

I Egg You, let me suggest this: a trio of bacon. Cut your 8 oz bacon steak into 3 or 4 pieces. Add a couple options of glazes. Boom, done, delicious.

Absolutely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys breakfast. I'm still not sure what milk bread is but I want to try it in French Toast.

Delicious. I found myself savory my buttery sandwich. The egg was nice and runny and gave much needed moisture to the sandwich. So good.

We’ve ordered multiple breakfast sandwiches here, along with the regular French toast, and they’ve all been delicious. The French toast is a little over priced but $10 for the breakfast sandwiches is a really good deal.

The food here is amazing! The DL’s Egg Drop, which is a beef bulgogi scrambled egg toast, deserves all the awards and rave reviews. I’ll definitely be back to try the other items.

One complaint though is the incredibly musty smell along the corridor to the bathroom. That’s right where the kitchen is, so you’d think it would smell awesome, but it was disgusting.

Very excited to have this place in the neighborhood. DC brunch can be very hit or miss in my opinion, and often values quantity over quality. I Egg You, in contrast, is focusing on the right things: the menu is eclectic and has great variety, and the food is really good.

First time visiting I got the breakfast quesadilla with a side of hot sauce and was pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the coffee was solid. No wait at all on a weekday for a table, so it’s a solid spot if you’re meeting a coworker in the morning.

Went back again about a week or two later for Sunday brunch and ordered the breakfast sandwich with bulgogi, side of potatoes, and one of the blueberry muffin bread-pudding sides. The bulgogi sandwich had great flavor and was really good (although I would toast the bread for longer, FWIW). The potatoes were also aggressively seasoned with old bay, which I appreciated. And the blueberry, muffin bread-pudding side was fantastic.

In terms of wait time, I would recommend coming earlier. We got there at 10 and were sat immediately, but by 11 it was packed with a long line.

Overall really excited about this place and its potential to be a neighborhood favorite. Hoping they continue to focus and prioritize on quality and consistency!
