Friends of ours who have traveled extensively in Italy and are Italian heritage joined us for dinner at I Ricchi on Friday night. We were very pleased with the selection in the menu and thoroughly enjoyed our meals! One special treat was when Christianne Ricchi visited our table and sat with us for a while, regaling us with stories from her time living in Italy and the road taken to open I Ricchi in the US. I had not dined at i Ricchi for a number of years, but have always had a good experience there. On a recent visit I found the food excellent, the service prompt and efficient, and the sound level reasonable. Would definitely revisit !

Hidden gem. We’ve regularly eat all over DC and have never seen a more put together and professional wait staff, even compared to the super fancy places like Roses Luxury or the Bazzar. Food was awesome and portions size was good

One of the best meals I've had here. Really outstanding bread, excellent tortellini with chard. My cod dish was near perfect, but my friend's chicken parmesan was just okay. We were too full for dessert.

A Washington institution but still going strong. Turns out some of the best Italian cooking in the area. It's nice to know in a city that increasingly has fast casual restaurants opening, that there's still a place with a quiet elegant ambiance, excellent service and great food. Come here for a nice romantic meal.

I had a good experience at Ricchi's last night. The food was excellent and out waitress was even better. The time that me and my date visited the restaurant was very quiet as it was early afternoon.

No wonder they call it the best Italian restaurant outside Italy. The food was sumptuous, made with the freshest ingredients. The service was outstanding, with perfect timing — efficient but not rushed. We both enjoyed the evening immensely; wish we could give 6 or 7 stars.

This is one of the truly genuine Italian restaurants in the city. In business for years, and you'll understand why. The menu offers delicious recipes, refreshing the menu regularly. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and well trained, the ambience is warm and inviting inside, while outside offers a garden like setting, making you forget you're downtown.
