This is one of the truly genuine Italian restaurants in the city. In business for years, and you'll understand why. The menu offers delicious recipes, refreshing the menu regularly. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and well trained, the ambience is warm and inviting inside, while outside offers a garden like setting, making you forget you're downtown.
Phenomenal. The ambiance, the service, the food, the drinks - everything was amazing. Beautiful space, and perfect for a business meal. 10 out of 10.
This long-standing venue was one of the best in town when it opened many years ago and it still is.
We enjoyed our dining experience. The food was excellent and our server, Carlos, was a complete gentleman! We recommend dining at Ristorante i Ricchi!
Excellent fresh pasta, fairly priced wine lists with just enough super stars for interesting reading and a concentration on Italy, gracious and informed service, it is easy to see why diners looking for fine Italian in DC have come here for years.
I had a great waiter but the food was extremely tasteless. I ordered the Branzino fish paired with tomato’s and fresh greens. Very expensive for mediocre taste.

I knew better, I knew better, I knew better. The reviews were great but they offered a Groupon so I went for it. We were the only table for over an hour on a Friday Night, not told about the $16 water, over seasoned calamari and raw flour on the Milanese. When questioned the manager was apathetic and said he didn’t care about the terrible food or if I came back. Such a shame to see such an iconic restaurant fall to the wayside, but I won’t be back nor can I recommend it to my friends or enemies.

Just happened upon this gem. Food was top notch. Service by Noe and his team was attentive, but not intrusive. Highly recommend!
The food, the people, the atmosphere was amazing. I enjoyed the fettunta and the calamari as appetizers and was pleased by the flavors. They were fresh and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp and spinach risotto was a warm burst of flavor with every bite. The melted parm sprinkled on top add a hint of saltiness that made me finish the whole plate wanting more. My main dish was the branzino which was light delicious accompanied by green beans seasoned to perfection. While my appetite was definitely bigger than my I could handle, I still indulged in desert. My choice for the evening was the tiramisu, allowing me to enjoy a bit of joy with my meal. The entire meal exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the owner who ensured my experience was top tier. Mrs. Ricchi wishing you much more success as you bring Italy to the DMV.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I visited. The service was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were perfect. It was an amazing dining experience and I hope to be back very soon. I highly recommend it.

I'll start by saying that the manager is a rude, unpleasant person. A tall, thin man. I think he's Arab or Italian. I don't know, but he's completely rude about how he treats his staff. Don't visit this place.

This is one of Washington's all-time best restaurants. We took a group of ten and had a wonderful evening. I highly recommend trying a variety of dishes to enjoy all the flavors it has to offer. Every time I visit, I ask for Carlos to take care of our table. He is a consummator professional and makes the evening hum. To cap the night off, Founder/Chef Christianne Ricchi visited with us and shared some great memories. There is a reason most Presidents have visited I Ricchi. This place remains legendary with the cooking to back it up.
Great place to grab Italian foor. Pasta is freshly made and menu has different options. Also bar staff is helpful and friendly.

Quiet, artistic setting, great service, excellent cuisine and very attentive management all recommend this restaurant as a must try. We took our visiting from Italy family members to dine at I Ricchi. They were most impressed. The owner came to talk with us and we enjoyed learning about her journey from living in Italy for seventeen yeaars to starting this restaurant in the US. She asked them about their journey to Italy as well. Our son is an American permanently residing there and our granddaughter has dual citizenship. We had the roasted mushroom starter course and four different pasta/risotto dishes. The tortalini is my favorite, while the rabbit ragu was voted the winner by two of our party. The risotto with funghi was devoured by our vegetarian granddaughter. I hope to return here next month with the other half of our "Italianamily who will be visiting then.
Ali and Nico were amazing!!!
