One of my fav spots! I usually stick with Green Curry but decided to get a poke bowl this time and it was phenomenal. The fish was fresh and had lots of sauce if you got a marinated option. The toppings were also fresh and delicious and the rice is always good. The prices are so reasonable, service is fast, and I always enjoy my meal.

This is going to sound like exaggeration but the food was genuinely some of the most flavorful Thai food I've had in Northern Virginia. They have a combo menu where you can get a smaller portion of two popular dishes - I got drunken noodles and panang curry. I wish more places did this - I'm normally conflicted between the two. Service was lightning quick too. Would recommend highly.Dietary restrictions: Girlfriend has celiac - they were happy to make her fried rice with gluten free ingredients.

Every time I order their gluten free dishes on Uber Eats I select the tab for Mild on each dish- clearly stated on the order receipt - every single time I get extra spicey-hot dishes delivered to me. Management needs to fix this and make sure the cooks know mild is on there for a reason. Thanks for a third ruined meal. I like you have gluten freee - but done.

I order on door dash and everything was good. 2 things bother me during my dinner it was the portion of the mango rice was tiny for the price. The second things was that the mango was too ripe (see picture) or not good to serve because under the mango it was very brown ... The other food was good but this

We decided to try to this place just to be cute. We wanted to try a different Thai spot from our usual place just to see what else is out there. Not sure if I would order from here again.Rice seems kind of stale. Drunken noodles are decent. Shumai was not good at all. Prob the least desirable item we ordered. The Penang curry is ok as well. It’s not a fantastic meal but a decent meal.

I am a big fan of Thai food and went to this place, expecting some real, genuine Thai as it was recommended by a local. The food is really too mediocre. Ordered combo platter comprising Phad Thai and chicken curry. Phad Thai had too much fish sauce in it, and curry had too much sugar. White rice that came with it was turning quite hard and tasted as if it had been cooked a while ago. I have been to many Thai food joints in various countries, but food here lacks the authentic taste of Thai. Disappointed.

I've had the pleasure of dining at Thai Select on multiple occasions, and it's a dependable Thai dining choice if you happen to reside in the neighborhood. Their portions are quite generous, and you can always count on swift service and ample seating. What's intriguing is the presence of two distinct menus, providing a wide array of options, including some enticing happy hour deals. Our go-to is usually a split order of pad Thai and a poke bowl, and it's one of the very few restaurants in Arlington that offer both items on their menu.I'm awarding it four stars because, while the food is undeniably good, it doesn't quite surpass some of the top-tier Thai dining experiences I've had in the area. Nevertheless, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Thai Select if you find yourself in the vicinity and craving some delicious Thai noodles or ramen.Parking: The convenience of ample, free parking right in front of the restaurant adds to its appeal.

The food is okay -- not horrible, but certainly not delicious either. It just hits the spot when you're hungry and since options are limited in the area, this is a decent spot to add to your rotation. But my disappointment comes not from the food per se. It's from the service.I walked in for a late lunch around 2:30p, ordering take out. I saw they had a lunch combination of half chicken pad thai and half chicken panang curry. Substitutions (meat upgrades) were not allowed, which seemed weird to me. You can't even pay extra to get beef or shrimp? The combo seems like a way to get rid of their chicken as most will probably order beef or shrimp in their dishes anyway. The food came out promptly, already wrapped in a plastic bag for me. I walked the half mile back to where I was going. When I opened my food, it looked like they forgot to give me my pad thai and only gave me my curry. I was so annoyed. But then upon closer inspection, I realized they did give me both... but for some reason they packed it in a plastic container with two compartments, one with pad thai and the other with curry... on my walk, much of the curry had spilled over into my pad thai, essentially mixing the two dishes and turning my noodles into a noodle curry soup. I paid extra for the combo so I could have two different things and save some for later, but this pretty much ruined that hope. I understand that a combo plate comes with everything together but it is devoid of common sense to pack a curry and another item in the same container. Or at the very least, if you do it, let the customer know... they wrapped everything for me and just handed it to me. How was I supposed to know I needed to take extra care to not tilt the container?!?When I did eat the food, the curry was everywhere. The flavor was fine. The chicken was meh. The side of rice that came with the curry was not even warm and I think they pre-scoop rice into little containers for take-out orders. I can't really comment on the pad thai because it tasted like curry. I am pretty annoyed.
