I've had the Addis Ababa pizza and the egg and veggie breakfast sandwich, and both are really really delicious! If you're just visiting the area and aren't sure if you'll come more than once, you absolutely have to get one of the Ethiopian pizzas, you're not getting that combination of flavors maybe anywhere else. The price of the Ethiopian pizzas is fair because of the amount of toppings that go on them and how filling they are. Even on an empty stomach I get stuffed from three slices of the Addis Ababa and have to save the rest for later. The service has also been very friendly every time I've been, just a great family-run small business!

This is my mom and I favorite place since we discovered it. There sambosas have the perfect spice and crunch, and the pizzas have the best combination of ethiopian spices. The service is always quick and friendly, we absolutely love coming here.
I have never been more offended by a "pizza". The flavors are horrible, the crust was clearly from frozen and completely lacks flavor, The pizza itself is weirdly sour, the potatoes were raw and hard, and none of the very underseasoned flavors go together. Immediately threw the pie in the trash. The sambusas were under fried and completely bland. The sauces are spicy for the sake of being spicy without a hint of actual flavor. What a waste of $40 and wish I could get my money back. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here.

The smoothies are delicious, the chai tea is delicious and the coffee is outta sight. Got a french toast sandwich as well,.add a little avocado jalapeno sauce.. LOVE ice 'n' slice eatery I will be back next time I'm in DC

Listennnn! This place is filled with deliciousness!! I wish I had taken a picture of our pizza, but we forgot and started eating right away.
We got half and half, I ate the Addis Ababa and my friend had the Merkato. The Addis Ababa is a flavor combo that is simply stupendous! The cabbage and lentils were the highlight for me. I also really enjoyed the crust!
And you must, when I say must, I mean must try the "secret sauce" directly on the pizza. It takes the flavors to the next level. I also highly recommend the house made tea! More deliciousness!!
Not only is the food fantastic, the service is top tier!! It's giving family restaurant and you're always welcome here. I wish I lived in the neighborhood, so I could go regularly.
