I highly recomend this spot as it never disappoints. Food was great. Ambiance was warm and inviting. Santos was a friendly host the manager on duty went above and beyond to make sure my birthday lunch was exceptional.
What a great restaurant serving amazing food and doing incredible work for the community. The staff were all very kind and the food arrived quickly. We got the huevos rancheros, immigrant poke 2.0, roasted mushroom soup, and fries. Everyone loved their meal and there was no food left when we were done. The portion sizes were perfect. We can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you!
What a gem in DC! Very good food at affordable prices. Mushroom soup has fresh whole mushrooms, and is a welcome departure from the usual blended morels and cream. Gumbo was also re-imagined, served with a bed of salad mix and cucumber as well as some rice, but not a soup in any sense. Delicious!
The canned cocktail was okay, but I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known it was in a can. The wines were good and fairly priced.
