Ambiance and Setting: Jont has a modern and urban atmosphere. They try to blend into the Washington, DC 14th street atmosphere. However, I think that they should consider if that atmosphere is a good fit for a Michelin 2-star restaurant. The seating gets a bit uncomfortable after an hour, and the music is a little loud. I couldn't hear about 50% of what the chefs and sommelier said. Decor and layout are nice; albeit, it is a bit sterile. Outside of this, it is all positive.

Dining at Jōnt was an overall excellent experience. The food was outstanding, with the risotto being the highlight of the night. We chose to add fresh truffles, which complemented the dish beautifully and elevated it even further. The cocktails were also exceptional, and I appreciated the unique touch of choosing our own chopsticks for one of the courses.
