Jackie American Bistro

We had a great evening at Jackie's, the service was excellent all evening and the staff could not have done more to make us welcome and comfortable. A great range of drinks and a good menu. I had the Scallops as a starter and then a Chilean Sea Bass, both plates were delicious, and the summer vegetables were outstanding.

We had an amazing dinner at Jackie! Highly recommend. Food, service, atmosphere were wonderful. We had the quail, with a cheesecake dessert. Can't say enough both were extraordinary! Thank you for making our trip of DC even more memorable.

I recently worked with Jackie in Navy Yard to plan a surprise 30th birthday for my wife, and everything turned out amazing.

From the start, Anya Gellerman, the event manager, made the whole process easy. She was patient, super responsive over phone and email, and helped with every question or request I had.

On the day of, Rana, the General Manager, met me, walked me through everything, and gave us time to set up and decorate. She kept checking in throughout the night to make sure things were going smoothly, which I really appreciated.

Our server, Korey Johnson, was hands down one of the best parts of the night. He took care of a big group with tons of food and drink orders and handled everything like clockwork. He was on top of everything, really personable, and honestly just a great guy to have around. Alona and Julie also helped keep things moving, bringing out food nonstop and making sure we never had to wait on anything.

The private space was perfect, the vibe was great, and the staff and management really went above and beyond. If you’re planning an event or even just stopping in for dinner and drinks, I’d definitely recommend Jackie.

Huge thank you to the whole team for hosting our event, we’ll for sure be back.

Eden was amazing! Great service, was very accommodating with the drink requests and was just a great vibe.

Our experience here was wonderful! The manager was so attentive, carefully paying attention to staff and ensuring our needs were met. We will definitely be back!

I came to Jackie to celebrate my birthday brunch and I'm so glad I did! From the start, the staff greeted our party like family and demonstrated service that goes above and beyond.

1) We had some last minute cancellations and their staff immediately accommodated our party by taking tables down without a single complaint.

2) My cake broke on the way to the restaurant and they had their chef fix it for me! Just that alone makes me a life long customer.

3) The server Yung, was incredible. Great personality and handled seat changes and late arrivals seamlessly.

In total, we had 12 people and everyone left feeling great. Also the decor and vibe is perfect for a large party. I hope Jackie continues to have business and they definitely have a life-long customer out of me!

My friend and I went because Saturday nights were live DJ sets according to the email received. Though we realize DC restaurants are being impacted by the presence of federal troops, we did expect an actual DJ at least. He used a playlist and didn't know the artist or name of a particular song that he played. It was a let down. We're older women and wanted to dance. Also the sauce on the steak fritites was very salty.

Jackie is good for pre-game meals! Very strong cocktails and good happy hour offers. The food is pretty average in my opinion but I don't think that's what you go there for. It's very convenient! Our waiter was very nice and outdoor seating is great under the terrace.

Great restaurant. We were a diverse group of eaters (vegetarian, LF, GF) and found something for everyone. The squash blossom, the focaccia, Brussels, lobster pasta special, and grilled vegetable salad were all tasty, as was the Jackie cocktail. Only complaint was the veggie salad was described to us by our server as “snap peas, asparagus and peppers” but came with asparagus, peppers, zucchini, squash and eggplant. One person ordering it abhors squash and eggplant and felt safe ordering the salad based on her description - so that was disappointing. Otherwise: a good outing! Love the outdoor setting.

Food and service was outstanding. Cory was our server and a delight! Thank you for a lovely dinner!

Great restaurant. Food was delicious and our waiter, Young, was terrific. Can't wait to go back again.
