The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were so good. All the drinks were top notch as well. Service was fast and the server was very attentive. Great place with great food!!

Jackie lee’s always serves it up right! We stopped in to meet some friends in the early evening. I got two PBRs and shared an order of hush puppies and an order of Brussels sprouts! Both dishes are amazing! It’s always a good time at Jackie lees! I’d most definitely recommend this place to others!
Vegetarian options: They have some vegan options. Apparently the vegan pulled pork sandwich is amazing, but I haven’t had it. A few friend have.
Parking: Street parking, so it’s the luck of the draw! Usually not an issue.
Kid-friendliness: While it is an okay place to bring kids, it still is a bar so timing would need to be considered. Earlier = yes for kids…later = no for kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: All on street level and wheelchair accessible.
This is a bar that my mom took me to back when we first moved to D.C. It was a nice neighborhood, black owned spot that was famous for its music and many R&B, jazz,and local musicians visited. Now, many years later, I took my daughter there, and it's owned by different people, but they kept the name because of it's history and what it meant to the community. The food was good, the music was great, and the service was impeccable!!!

Fun dive bar! We came in on a rainy day to get a drink and something to eat. Chill atmosphere with good music and board games. Impressive vegan options for a bar. Food was pretty simple but prepared well and very tasty!

Staying in the Fort Totten neighborhood and stopped by this neighborhood bar on a hot summer day and this place was worth it. Just had a beer and fries, but let me tell you they were really good. Service was kind and the atmosphere even sitting out front was great. Will be back to eat a real meal and drinks before I have to head back west!

This was a fun dive bar. Great drink specials, awesome staff and fun vibes. Theres outdoor seating and plenty of seating inside for small groups. My friends and I stopped by for their dice roll combo. Its around $11 for a shot and beer. Cant find a better deal in the city. We also had their wings, ribs, fries and hush puppies. The house made mumbo and hush puppy sauce were delicious. We had a great time here. Theres plenty of street parking in the front and neighborhood parking a block away
