There is nothing about this place that doesn’t merit five stars. The service from the bar - Chris, Olga, Jake, and everyone else- are friendly and welcoming. The drink selection is solid and full of favorites. And the food - good lord, the food is outstanding. The best cheese curds, top notch legit red beans and rice - there’s not an off note on the whole menu. Top it off with the fact that I believe that all of their sauces and dressings are house made - like I said, five stars all around!

Best bar in DC. Love the whole team especially Chris, Jake, and Andrew. Those guys are the most welcoming staff I’ve ever encountered, and truly the pulse behind this place. I go into see them just as much as I do for the chicken sandwich.

Felt like I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares or bar rescue. Kitchen needs a better ticket system, and there needs to be a better way for food runners to find people. A simple ticket or order number would be better than just walking around trying to remember who ordered what an hour ago. Food also takes a long time to get out. My table ordered a chicken sandwich which took 45 mins to come out, 4 tacos took an hour and I never got my order at all even after talking to two different staff members.

Good quiet bar with nice and respectful staff.Beer selection is not huge but enough for regular "good time" event. Also you can order any kind of cocktail you want. There's happy hour deals provided as well.Food menu is decent and dishes are delicious. Kitchen works till 8 pm I believe. 3+ TVs are located in the main bar area with different channels / sports streaming.So it is a great bar to go to after a long day or for have a chat with friends.
I actually really liked this place. It's definitely a little bit of a dive bar, but they have gold fish, and the beer is fresh.

Came here from out of town with friends, and ended up getting choked by a drunk woman who couldn't control herself. There were no consequences, and seems like a bar just worrying about young people getting drunk and out of control to seem like a "cool" go to bar.

Went on st Patrick's day, food was delicious, drinks had a good pour and fair price, service was great. There's a juke box to play to music and such, was fun for our group of 20-something's, but there was also somebody there with a baby. So I'd call that good for all ages.
