I’m a big fan of Jamaican food and especially oxtail, and Jam Doung has some of the best in DC. While the prices are on par with what you’d expect in 2025, I do wish they’d add a bit more oxtail to the plate or be more careful about the fat and texture. Couldn’t bite 2 of the 6 pieces given. Sometimes it’s perfect, but other times it’s a bit off. The coco bread was dry this time, which was disappointing since I’ve had fresher ones from them before. And the mac and...

Well,the food WAS fantastic, I recommend highly that you call in your order,kinda crowded, not the best place to sit and eat,I had oxtails,cabbage, peas and rice,sweet plantains,,and a slice of carrot cake and a Jamaican cream soda,$ 26.00 dollars ,large order,(I'm a big guy) food was good,i sat and ate there,was o.k.,but I was by myself lunch time,big,big crowd,real home cooked food,except the cabbage, more seasoning please,,,,,lol
