I had a the felon gin drink and the power puff vodka drink. Both were to my liking. The pickled okra was also yummy. I do wish they had a little more food options. Cute place but I imagine on a busy night (I was there on a Monday) it would be near impossible to get a seat. It is small/tight.

I found this cocktail bar while exploring DC for the weekend, and it turned into the highlight of my night. The place isn’t big, but that’s what makes it special — it feels like everyone inside actually wants to be there. Dim lighting, vintage mirrors, and just enough buzz to make conversations feel alive without shouting over music. We waited about 30 minutes for a table (no reservations), but the staff made it easy. They checked in a few times, offered water while we waited, and honestly, it felt more like a pre-party than a wait. Once we sat down, we were greeted with a plate of Cheez-Its (yes, really) — small detail, huge charm point. Cocktails? Easily some of the best I’ve had in DC. The Sunflower had this floral kick that wasn’t too sweet, and The Remedy was perfectly spicy with a smooth finish. We also ordered the French onion dip, which was rich, creamy, and gone in minutes. Everyone who worked there — from the host to the bartender — had great energy. No fake smiles, just good people doing their thing. If you’re visiting DC, make time for this spot. It’s cozy, creative, and totally worth the wait. And for anyone winding down afterward, PullUpDeliveries is a lifesaver — they deliver high-quality cannabis right to your hotel or Airbnb. Nothing better after a night of great drinks and conversation. Would 100% come back.

This is a really chill bar we tried out recently. They give you cheese its as a snack, which is very high class. Happy hour deal was good. If I had to complain I'd say the music was too loud given how small the space is, but for whatever reason most bars insist on blasting music even when the place is packed (I really don't understand this but I'm probably just an old foagie so).

On Saturday (9/6) I had friends in town and they wanted a drink. So it’s been a few years, I chose Jane Jane. Of course, Saturday night I expected a wait or to be fully booked. The host was nice and greeted us gave us the rundown and said it wouldn’t be too long but added us to the wait list. So we ventured down to another place while we waited on the text.
Shortly after we ordered drinks from the other spot, I got the text. I responded and hit 1 to confirm within 4 minutes. We chugged our drinks and walked the two blocks back. Arrived within 7 minutes of the text. The host tells me sorry, that he gave up my spot because I didn’t respond fast enough. I said to him, on the text it says you have a 10 minute grace period and I reiterated that to him with his reply being “yeah I know, I don’t ever wait the full 10 minutes, I’m really sorry but I can add you back to the list and it won’t be long”
What’s the point of even having this style of wait list if you’re not going to follow your own guidelines? I wanted my friends to enjoy a decent cocktail, which they did, but we were jammed in the corner of the bar, standing while we waited on something to open. Well we ordered drinks and never got sat by the time we finished them. Thankfully they liked the space and the cocktails, but also when it came time to close out I just let the bartender know when he had a moment I’d take the check. He acknowledged me and said give him a moment to finish the current drinks he had (perfectly understandable)
Got back to talking with my friends, about 10 minutes goes by and I had to ask him again, and then someone from the background heard me and came over to cash us out. I’ve liked Jane Jane during my very few visits over the years, but this was very disappointing. Thankfully the drinks were good and my friends liked the vibe, but I think I’ll pass on any future visits as it’s definitely declined overall since my last visit a couple years ago. Being in the industry, I really hate posting negative stuff, but this was just a poor experience. Hope the owners see this and fix it for future guest.

Coming from NC it absolutely Felt like home here . Based on the reviews I expected a wait but it must of been our lucky day because a table opened up as soon as me and my partner got there . Everyone was so friendly and We were serviced quickly high light for me was the Appletini .
