The owners were very helpful in walking us through their pastry and coffee options. Incredibly welcoming and friendly too!

We waited 20 minutes at the cashier for someone to come and take the order. It was empty, not a single employee.

It's one of the worst cafes I've ever seen in my life. The service is terrible. It smells bad inside and there are lots of blackflies. The downstairs is ice cold and the upstairs is just as stuffy and hot. The shelves and the display case are almost empty. All the leftovers of the food and drinks on the tables upstairs. You know, this is this place. It's like a grocery store with flies and a cheesy village school canteen. Don't waste your time and go there. But they advertise very well, the menu is fancy, as if everything was there, pictures, promotions, etc., but there was nothing on the menu. The employee warmed up a ready-made bagel and gave it to you. There is much more to it in DC. There are nice places. Oh, and by the way, I have a name suggestion for this place. I think Junk cafe would be more suitable for this place, not Janti. In my opinion, I would suggest that you don't talk about me and get into the school experience trap, but rather clean up that freak place you call a cafe. I think I wrote a little bit, really. You are a complete disaster.

Great little authentic Turkish cafe. Excellent pastries and strong coffee. Nice small market with staples and fun finds. Great for casual eats. Good pit stop after/during Georgetown Flea!
Excellent coffee and Turkish sandwiches

Super cute lil coffee shop tucked in Georgetown. I went after going to the flea market on Sunday and could watch people walking by from upstairs.

Serving Turkish tea in a paper cup and throwing baklava onto paper plate was felt like an insult to my culture. Food was okay. The high rating attracted us to this cafe and we wonder how they got that high ratings. And yet, it was very expensive. $15 for a panini was insane. We ate 3 huge pieces of icli kofte (an authentic Turkish food super difficult to prepare) for $15 at Ottoman Taverna, Michelin star restaurant.

Lovely place!
If you are looking for some eastern European food this is the place. In their market they have Bulgarian white cheese, kashkaval cheese and baklava ?

Food was wonderful as a Turkish person felt very authentic. Annabelle was super sweet and even though this ogre of a man was being absolutely horrendous she handled the situation with such grace and politeness. Definitely would recommend their apple turnovers and salami panini.

Very good iced caramel coffee! Far more reasonably priced than any other place in Georgetown, and much better quality. The pastries looked amazing, but I didn't order any this visit.
