Great little authentic Turkish cafe. Excellent pastries and strong coffee. Nice small market with staples and fun finds. Great for casual eats. Good pit stop after/during Georgetown Flea!
Serving Turkish tea in a paper cup and throwing baklava onto paper plate was felt like an insult to my culture. Food was okay. The high rating attracted us to this cafe and we wonder how they got that high ratings. And yet, it was very expensive. $15 for a panini was insane. We ate 3 huge pieces of icli kofte (an authentic Turkish food super difficult to prepare) for $15 at Ottoman Taverna, Michelin star restaurant.
