Jerry Chan's Restaurant

Yesterday was my husband and I first time actually ordering from this carryout. I was craving a steak and cheese and my husband reminded me of Jerry Chans, which save us a drive because usually we would go Uptown NW DC to order our steak and cheese subs. We drive pass Jerry Chans almost everyday, but what throws us off is the fact that there is always vagrants around that area.... Anyway we called in our order and when we arrived I introduced myself to a nice lady that works there name Jane. Very pleasant lady. Omg our steak and cheese subs where perfect and loaded with plenty of steak.... Finger licking good.. we definitely will be coming back to try other foods.

It took 2 hours to get food delivered. Terrible.

Hard finding a good carryout. Especially when you new to the area. This is one of the good ones

This is a small place, but the serving sizes are great for the price. We ordered pickup because we were just in the area for a few nights to visit with our family and my brother in laws family. They are very friendly people as well. Although some guy acted like he wanted to rob us because he asked for money and then waited outside. He kept watching us staring back in the window at us until he saw my husband reach for his pocket and the guy ran. Go during the daytime and if you have to go at night, don't go alone or order delivery. I gave them all 5 stars because of the freshness of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the short wait.

It’s a staple on my list of comfort places to go. I usually deal with Stephanie and shes always courteous. The food is also usually consistently good.

Came in today and my order included 5 wings split. Tina made it a meal and I didn’t notice till I got home. There was a bit of a misunderstanding when I called in regarding it but she took my name and number and will provide a credit next time I’m in so that was resolved. This review is to keep them accountable for the next time I’m in the restaurant since I don’t know when that’ll be next.

Also, the place is REALLY clean. Love that for all of us

I spent $20 for my order to completely wrong that is unacceptable & when I ask could I receive my proper order I received poor customer service I do not recommend you eat here !!!!

My go to place for Chinese takeout. Normally in and out under 20 mins sometimes 15. Food is always piping hot. I’ve liked everything I’ve had here. Lady at the window is mostly kind as well. May even get a smile during your visit which is rare in a DC Carry Out lol. All in all, you can’t beat a classic mom and pop carry out.

The food was very good I was quite surprised how good it was. I ordered the buffalo wings, fried rice, steak & cheese & a triple mix drink. The buffalo sauce was on point & the triple mix was so bomb. My favorite new carryout.

The food ia delicious and cooked as you order it.
Portions are big ns delivery is accurate.

Delivery is handled by Beyond Menu, which had not even picked up the meal at the time their email had said it would be delivered. After several phone calls, including to Jerry Chan - where they refused to take responsibility for the delivery service they chose & posted on their website - & 1.5 hrs after placing the order, it was finally delivered, somewhat chilled & with no napkins. Food quality was disappointing, similar to the delivery.

I’m never disappointed with their food, fruit or drinks.
