Found this spot on TikTok but they sure hyped this place up. Went here on Saturday for a birthday dinner. Reservation was at 6 and when we walked in it was like they had just open, people were setting up and mopping floors ( it smelled). Finally got seated at 6:40 and everything went down hill from there. I'll say this the restaurant decor was very nice and the staff was nice at well but for the restaurant to be empty most of the time we were there everything moved slow. The waitress sold us on these really strong (upscale) lavender lemon drops with a shot on the side which cost $30 for it to come and taste like juice. The next item was the $50 lamb chops which I was so ready for and then they bring out 4 lamb chop lollipops (which is not worth $50 dollars) especially since the sides were separate. I also ordered a salad and requested ranch dressing but the waitress said that the salad tasted better with the house vinaigrette but I wanted ranch ( which they said they had) but she never brought out my ranch lol. The mash was liquid ( had to send back) at this time no one really liked the food or drinks everything was just ok. We got seated at 6:40 and dinner ended at 10 not because we were having such a good time but because they were that slow but what sent the group over the edge was the $10 dollar bottle of water. We tried to make the best of it because it was a celebration but the food and drinks were not worth the cost . Oh please understand we were well aware of the cost of the food and drinks as we checked out the menu and new the price before we got there so it's not about the cost it was about the quality of the food and drinks. We talked to the manager about the issues we had and they offered the birthday girl a shot. We paid our bill and left and said we would never go again. So I would say if you want nice pictures go there but other than that you can find other options.

Okay so... this was my first time visiting this spot. The group I was with saw this place featured on TikTok and decided it was a spot to check out. We made reservations, and paid the $20 deposit per person. We arrived Saturday, slightly before our reservation time which was 6pm. When we arrived, I'm guessing they had just opened. Hours of operation, according to website, is 4pm- 3am. The reason why I say I guess they just opened at 5:50pm is because they were setting the tables and mopping the floor while we were waiting at the bar to be seated. Speaking of mopping the floor, I noticed that the mop water might have needed to be changed as it smelled a little sour. About 6:05-6:10, we were called upstairs as our table was ready. We were the only party in the restaurant. We sat down, and to begin with service was going good. I must say, the place had a vibe, nicely decorated, music was okay. Ok so we were given QR code cards to pull up the menu on our phones. We started with our drink order, I ordered an alcoholic beverage and then I asked about water. The waitress then asked if I wanted tap water or bottled water. I live in the area and I wouldn't offer anyone DC tap water. So I ordered 2 bottled waters. The rest of the party ordered drinks as well. The one thing about this place is that the menu doesn't have all of the prices listed. Only for their signature drinks. Prices for water, fountain drinks, and straight liquor are not listed and they failed to inform us that the fountain drinks are limited to 2 and then you are charged for refills. They also come in a Collins glass, which is a skinny glass so you're not getting much. Waitress bring to bottled waters to the table and opens them (breaking the seal) they were two 33.8 oz bottles of deer park!!! (Later found out they were $10 a bottle) I would have only ordered one if I knew the size and the price. Had to send back the water glasses because they were not clean, also sent back the appetizer plates as they were dirty as well. Now on to the food.. we ordered appetizers. I ordered calamari. The calamari was great! Serving size was good, flavor was good, fried to perfection. No complaints there. Someone else in my party ordered crab cakes (2 crab cakes). One of the crab cakes was good, the other had a faint smell of ammonia which I know means that it's old or starting to spoil. So that crab cake did not get eaten and no one made a fuss about it just sat it to the side for them to pick up when they cleared the plates. I originally was going to order the salmon but after smelling the crab cake, my instincts told me to steer clear of any seafood. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered a Caesar salad thinking it was possibly the safest thing to get. I don't eat red meat and I know this is a steakhouse but again I was with a party so I kind of just found something on the menu that would suit me, no biggie. The salad was good, I didn't care for the croutons, they were greasy for some reason like they were deep fried so I picked them out. Now this is where service started to lack.. a while went by and no one came to check in on us, plates were starting to pile up, people needed refills, some things needed to be sent back. The mash potatoes looked almost like grits, a little watery, nonetheless they weren't appetizing, once the waitress came, those got sent back and taken off the tab the others in the party opted for fries. We finished our meal, ask for to-go boxes and the check. The check comes and that's when I realized that these deer park waters were $10 a piece and they had charged us for 4. We only ordered 2, and on the receipt it's listed as "panna still water." Which is not what we got!!! That's also when we realized that the refills on the fountain drinks were not free but limited to 2 and extra charge for any refills after. I do feel that the menu items were a bit overpriced. I've paid these prices at del frisco's which is a fine dining establishment and expected. I honestly dont think that

Okay, so let's get the good out the way because it's not much. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, our server was very nice and the owner was even nice, the drinks were good and the broccoli was the best. We visited on Saturday night and the place was empty and we should have known to walk away and forfeited our $80 deposit, $20/pp for reservation. Which was NOT needed because it was plenty of tables available. We were seated at 7:30pm and did not receive our food until 9:02pm. We received our drinks at 8:01pm. Our drinks were 2 strawberry lemon drops, French 75 and Jack and coke. No complaints for the drinks. We had 2 orders of ribeye, a NY strip with jumbo shrimp and a salmon pasta. Our sides including mashed potatoes which tasted scorched or like gasoline, jollof rice which came to the table cold and hard and very small portion. We returned both of those back to the kitchen. We had 2 orders of brussel sprouts and they both tasted completely different, so no consistency there. We had 2 orders of broccoli, which again was the best part of the meal. The sweet potatoes were drowned in butter or oil. But they severely missed the mark. All 3 steaks were ordered medium well, all 3 came out well done even by cutting in the middle. The steaks lacked flavor. The person who order the pasta had no complaints about it. After we finished our meals and left finally, 3 out of 4 of us- all of which had a steak had diarrhea which ruined the rest of our night. We called the restaurant the same night to express our concerns and the owner stated that the steak was fresh and that we didn't complain about the food while there. Which clearly was a lie because we sent back 3 dishes and just wanted the horrible food experience to be over. Even when asked at the restaurant we told them that the service and drinks were good. We never gave compliments for the food. We will never patronize this restaurant again and would advise you to skip past this restaurant as well. To sum this restaurant up, the best way would be "looks can be deceiving". If you do patronize, please do so at your own risk.

I found this place on Instagram and was excited to give this a try because I was also interested in the hookah. Looking at the pics the place is very pretty. So I texted them with all questions I had and they were prompt to respond. All my questions were answered and I then went onto the website to make reservations for 6 people. There was a $20 per person fee to make the reservation so I had to pay $120 up front but I was told it came off the bill and it did. When we arrived we were greeted by Isabella who is very nice. She let us know that my party would be seated upstairs in the VIP atea and that we could order food, drinks and hookah. Isabella was very attentive and came back several times to our table to ask if we needed anything while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. She filled our glasses with water and brought out fresh warm bread that was really delicious. We loved the music but it was a tad bit loud but not unbearable. I ordered three drinks and I absolutely loved them all!! The Her, Meet Me In Vegas and Mezcal Lyncheetini. All delicious I give the drinks 10 out of 10. I've read where other reviewers said the drinks were watered down but that was not my experience. My son ordered the a Long Island which is not on the menu but he said it was strong and good. Our hookah was good, we asked for the blueberry mint and it was a hit. We ordered the crab cakes, Caesar salad, Bella Pasta, Grilled Bronzino and the Wagyu Burger. The food came out hot and delicious, no complaints at all. I will say that it did take awhile for our food to come out but in all fairness food preparation times are listed on the menu. We did have to ask a few times for a refill on our water as there was only one waiter and busboy. I believe Isabella was the cook and at the end she came out with this little spot light and a slice of chocolate cake for my birthday, it was unexpected and very sweet! All in all I loved this place and it has a lot of potential. There were a few other parties there but not crowed. I would definitely recommend you try it yourself. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Isabella!

Thank you, Isabella!Parking: There was a parking garage but by the time we arrived which was about 6:45pm on a Saturday the garage was full but it was also the day before St Patrick’s Day. So there was a crowd and lots of cars that could have affected the parking. My son and brother however were able to find parking in a garage which was $30 a piece. My husband however was not as lucky. After riding around six times he eventually found paid street parking about a block away.

My friends and I went to Jesiree for Girls Night Out. We ordered the crab cakes, steak and branzino with jollof, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, and macaroni cheese. We also had the cheesecake, fudge cake, and three different cocktails. Everything was delicious!! The customer service was exceptional! They even charged my friend's phone while we ate. The decor and music set the vibe. Our server, Janiya, was really cool. I would recommend Jesiree for a good night out.

There were only 3 other parties there when my significant other and I went . We mainly went there to hookah. The place is cute, it's super small. The bartender she was a mess, seen her reading off a paper I guess to see how to make the drinks we ordered off the menu I'm guessing she made it wrong the first time because we watched her pour out a drink then made it again. Took about 20 minutes to get our drinks which I felt was pretty long since there was barely anyone else there and the other parties that were there already had their drinks and everything. The music is played off of someone's Spotify or pandora account from their phone so mid song they kept switching to the next song or it kept stopping ( as if they were getting a call or something). Started to get hungry so we were going to order food but with the way the bartender was and the stop and go music we decided not to especially since the food was expensive and and we didn't want to pay all the money to have to wait forever for our food and for us to not like it just incase. The menu, they give you a QR code to scan on your phone and before you order the first page is full of their wait times of how long it will take for the food . The front door to the place is like a wooden plank . Honestly when we got out from the Uber we thought we were at the wrong place from the outside . I wouldn't go back

I went on Valentines excited to experience another black owned upscale restaurant! This experience was everything but upscale. I would give this zero stars if I could. This is not a “chophouse” it’s a hookah lounge that sells food.I arrived at 8pm, we were served food at 10pm, and walked out at 10:30 without dessert. It was a prix fixe menu at $100 per person. You could only order from the menu to include drinks. After waiting 20 mins for a drink I walked to the bar to get my own drink. The drinks were terrible. The crab cakes were backfin crab meat they were full of shells. The chicken meatballs were hard we could only eat the inside. Lamb chops were tiny and burnt, I asked for them to be medium. He liked his Branzino. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were okay. The worse part was the bartender (Asian lady) told the waitress to walk around to each table and offer free shots for a good Google review. They were bring people shots in plastic disposal condiment cups. If you read any good reviews from Valentines that’s the reason.
