The service you receive getting the raw food is great. But getting your food cooked is a nightmare. They sometimes over cook the food or give you the wrong food or it takes a long time for service.
A bit confusing at first on what to do, but once you ask the staff they will instruct you and will offer options. The soups were fresh and fantastic. Steamed crab was overcooked, but greatly seasoned. Definitely a unique experience, especially when it’s sunny and you can enjoy the food outside.
Everytime I'm in the dmv, we always make a stop here to pick up at least 2 dozen crabs. Each time we are completely satisfied. Unlike some places, the employees here carefully pick out your crabs for u, making sure each one is the correct size and live. You can either take them home as is, or they can steam them up with some seasoning. Both are amazing. Hope they never leave the Wharf!
