If you grew up going to an old school diner, the “vibe” of this place won’t fool you. They serve frozen jimmy dean sausages and pancakes made from a boxed mix. Staff mocked a customer because he asked for ice in his water (instead of the tepid half cups they were pouring). I really turned on this place once they were rude to that guy so this is my first negative Google review. I love “old school” diners because I can get good food at an affordable price served by people I look forward to seeing when I visit. You won’t find that here.

I went with my husband and we absolutely loved this place! It has a special vibe, you can tell it’s run by the owners with care and heart. Classic American breakfasts at super affordable prices. The drip coffee was delicious and, incredibly, not burnt (a rare find!). We’d go back without hesitation.
It’s the kind of place where, as a guest, you shouldn’t come to demand just relax, surrender to the experience, and enjoy.

No service for 5 mins. with 5-6 booths and tables open. Incredibly aggressive guy screams at us from behind the counter as we’re trying to put two tables together “why don’t you wait until I clean the table.” Clearly, the guy had something to prove, and it wasn’t good customer service. We left.
Great breakfast and even better service. A family run diner in the middle of Capitol Hill. The owners are friendly and it’s a nice place to grab breakfast, for a good price! Also, it’s cash only

Our meal came out hot!! How wonderful! Food was satisfying. Will return. Pancake bacon and egg. Hot 3 Grilled cheese with tomato and onion tasty and hot 4 Fried Jalapeño cheddar grits. Bland Would try the cheddar bacon grits next time Prices are reasonable especially in these times. Cash only. Food was good Portions small but adequate Waiter Forest accommodating Totally neighborhood friendly and simple choices. Nice breakfast/lunch find.

Greatest place possibly ever. Me and my wife stumbled on this place about 5 yrs ago an we will drive there still from out of town 2 get a bite of the food. Makes you feel at home an everything is perfect will come here forever if I can.
