The three women that work in this location (today) are very rude and unprofessional, and closed down the juicer earlier than closing time. They started taking down the juicer before I got there at 1:56 saying that they did so because they close at 2pm. They said the manager told them to do it and the store policy is to shut the juicer down early. When I repeatedly asked the manager what time they shut the juicer down, she kept saying they close at 2 (mind you it was 1:57 at this point), and this was a corporate policy to close it down early. When I wasn’t buying that, she then told me that they shut it down early because they were short staffed (I’ve been to Joe & The Juice all over DC, NY and even abroad and have never seen more than 3 people working at once, so I felt this was another lie.
When I asked her how many people are supposed to be staffed, she wouldn’t answer. When I said I would check with corporate, she decided she would offered me water or a muffin, yet still had a serious attitude, and yelled loudly at me that “she doesn’t make the store hours” and that she would not tell me her name. The other two employees were rolling their eyes then one laughed loudly and ridiculously when I asked for the managers name. The manager proceeded to (very loudly) tell me I’d been “difficult all week”, I guess because I (politely) stopped by to ask if their juicer had been fixed yet multiple times this week. This is at least the second time the juicer has been broken.
Instead of giving away unwanted free items, in the rudest way possible, they should focus on keeping the schedule they advertise for the thing that’s literally in their name. Especially since this is the first time it has even been working in a long while.
I wont be coming back until there is new staff (which I imaging will be soon unless they change their attitudes) as these women are disgustingly rude to the point that I wouldn’t trust anything they make.

I don't get the low reviews. Friendly staff, I had a couple of good breakfasts here while in DC and they were good value too. I guess due to the low reviews there aren't a lot of customers, so grab the opportunity for a no-queue-good-value-friendly-faced service!

Weird to me that a coffee place would not serve us coffee almost an hour before they closed because they said they had already cleaned the machine.

Went in looking for a quick bite. They told me it would take TWENTY minutes for a sandwich. TWENTY. The sandwiches looked 3D printed in the pictures so I decided to just leave. I can’t rate the food since I refuse ro wait that long for some airport food

‘Joe’ will always be a place for me to get healthy drinks. Today’s experience (at this particular location) soured that for me. I wanted to use the bathroom first- to wash my hands and… - but I was told that the security code is not given until I ordered. I told the young woman that I will when I return. She reluctantly recited the code while her back was to me, prompting me to ask again. I didn’t appreciate the negative attitude. Please treat all who enter with respect because you never know. I certainly know that there are individuals who will mistreat the situation, like you never know that I would be the one to give you an enormous tip.
