Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

From the personal greeting at the door to the great service and wonderful food, our experience was wonderful. Also great touch with the complementary champagne Never disappoints. Excellent!!

I love the food and the service at Joe's and it's always a treat to dine here. However, the interior is depressing with its outdated dark furniture, lack of natural light and the ambiance of a 1970's funeral parlor. As a former Miamian and fan of Joe's Stone Crabs, the DC venue should lighten up and let the sunshine in! I also object to the exorbitant price of stone crab claws. But the Chilean sea bass was excellent.

Went to Joes three times last week. Everything was perfect each time. Had the Filet, Lobster Ribeye, broiled seafood platter, sea bass, stone crab, baked potato, Jennies potatoes, broccolini, Shrimp cocktail, crab cakes salads, and oh those pies! Fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The wait staff was all kind, attentive and very responsive. The food was delicious and timely. We will be back!

Been going there since they opened a decade back - I like the place although understandably staff faces keep changing , old ones go newer ones appear . But that's good thing keeps the service levels in top shape .

Combination Platter (Shrimp, Scallops & Lobster): A dream trio. The scallops were seared to a golden crust, the shrimp were juicy and flavorful, and the lobster? Buttery, succulent, and cooked with flawless precision. Everything was beautifully plated and served at just the right pace. You can tell Joe's takes great pride in sourcing the best ingredients and treating them with care. Verdict: Joe's is not just a seafood restaurant — it's a destination. We had the best dinner, great food (jumbo stone crab! Yum!) great service, Victor was amazing! I had crab stuffed shrimp which was delicious, my husband had the stone crab, we had several sides and great drinks. A wonderful meal at an iconic DC restaurant. Will definitely go back when we are in DC again.

They make you feel special @ Joes & diningvthere isn't just a meal, it's a wonderful experience. The Alaskan King Crab is outrageously expensive but it's so delicious. All the food is wonderful. Make room for a slice of one of their pies--you won't regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Joe's. The temperature of the food was perfect, and the meals were absolutely scrumptious and delicious. Jeff, our server was attentive and assisted with our best choices from appetizers to the end. He was right on point and helped made our Father's Day celebration the best!

We were pleased with our meal as the food was very good but the service was subpar compared to what we expected given the caliber of this restaurant. Our server disappeared after the appetizer was served and never returned until we were completely done with our meal. We had to flag someone else down to order desserts. Our server didn't return until after we were done with our dessert — just in time for us to request the check. Our drinks were never refilled throughout the meal either. We were expecting to have an all around stellar meal, but were disappointed in the service and we tipped accordingly.

Joes is fantastic. We went to celebrate Fathers day, they were accommodating for our 15mo son and everybody was so friendly. The food was delicious and the service amazing.

I had hair in my mushrooms, I was not offered a warm towel and lemon upon sitting down, the food was not as good as I have experienced in the past and the service was not as good either. I will not be back.
