Our meal at Joe's Stone Crab was unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, warm, attentive, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. We started with the calamari, which was light, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. The crab and stuffed shrimp were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The crab cakes were rich, packed with sweet lump crab, and easily among the best we've ever tasted. A special highlight was their signature roasted tomatoes—simple yet extraordinary, and a must-try. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with the freshest ingredients, showcasing why Joe's reputation is so well-earned. It's rare to find a place where food, drinks, and service all align at such a high level, but Joe's delivered effortlessly. Whether you're a seafood lover or just want a truly memorable night out, Joe's Stone Crab is an absolute gem. We can't wait to return!

Someone told us the best thing on the menu was the fried chicken so we had that but also the seafood salad and steak. We also indulged in dessert- wow! Wonderful meal with friends, great service. We will come again!

This is my third time dining at this establishment. The food and service never disappoint. I did ask for a quiet place to have dinner with my husband because it was our 25th anniversary, but we were put out in the open. We still made the most of it and enjoyed it.

Flawless! Just read news article that resturant attendance has substantially dipped because of finances of customers. This certainly wasn't evident at joe's . Full house so make reservations.

Jeffrey was great. Food was good although some dishes have too much sauces and take away from the fish

The food was absolutely delicious. One of the best steaks I've ever had! The lobster tails were cooked perfectly, and I absolutely loved the lobster mac and cheese. The only disappointing part of the meal was the creamed spinach. I would say that the spinach was the only thing that let me down. Our waitress was exceptional. Throughout our meal, we were constantly checked on to ensure we were enjoying the food and if we needed anything.

First time at Joe's in Washington DC. Everything was great from the Hostess to the food and the service was exceptional. I will be back.

Service was disappointing (for the first time), but the food was as lovely as ever, especially the dover sole with brown butter. Never disappoints.

Me and the wife went here while on holiday in DC. We got the oysters Rockefeller, the only pasta they had, the seafood platter, and the jumbo fried asparagus. Sadly, the oysters tasted bad and cheese tasted sour. The pasta was bland kinda like chef boy-r-de. The seafood platter was also bland and overcooked, rubbery. Asparagus was good. With all this said I recommend it because maybe the food just wasn’t for us. It might fit your taste buds just not ours! We explain all this to management and they were very kind and accommodating about the situation. Service was also fantastic in all ways.

From the personal greeting at the door to the great service and wonderful food, our experience was wonderful. Also great touch with the complementary champagne Never disappoints. Excellent!!

I love the food and the service at Joe's and it's always a treat to dine here. However, the interior is depressing with its outdated dark furniture, lack of natural light and the ambiance of a 1970's funeral parlor. As a former Miamian and fan of Joe's Stone Crabs, the DC venue should lighten up and let the sunshine in! I also object to the exorbitant price of stone crab claws. But the Chilean sea bass was excellent.

Now our favorite restaurant. Our waiter Jeffrey and the sommelier made the experience memorable
