I live over a mile from this place and walk the distance (uphill!) to get the burgers - that’s how good they are. And the servers are so kind. It’s a pleasure to go there.

I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, making and serving food (including burgers and fries). I just stopped by Joia last night, for the first time. I ordered a double patty. I have to say that it might have been the best burger I’ve ever tried. Nothing too fancy, just the perfect size and balance of ingredients. I didn’t intend to get any fries, but after ordering my burger, I asked the employee who was serving me if I could try one. It was so good, that I instantly asked to order some, only to find out that they had gone ahead and generously thrown in a batch on the house for me. I literally have never written a review in my life (google, yelp, otherwise) but I was so into it I thought I should share. Super friendly, low key atmosphere, fast, and delicious. I highly recommend it and I’ll be going back there. Thanks Joia.

I’m a big fan of purple patch down the street so I had to try their burger place. Their burgers are good and solidly sized. I like when my burgers have a little something extra to them. We also got the loaded fries. Everything came out fast and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

The exotic beef is smothered in so much sauce you can't tell it from any other type of beef. They need to lighten it up a little. About as subtle as a pound of fudge.
