A cute hidden spot, friendly and accommodating staff. Smoothies are nice!
Mediocre spot for caffeine that will look for all the ways to up-charge you (for creamer) on a standard hot coffee. Try a better spot like Tryst Coffee House & Bar up the street in Adams Morgan!

While the bagel did not have the thickness that I am used to as in, say, a New York bagel, Jolt 'N Bolt serves excellently flavored bagels at a very reasonable price. The seating arrangement is wonderful, being tucked in a quiet alley away from the street and having ample seating on the inside. A fantastic place to both linger and to grab and go.

Great if you want to wait 25 minutes for a smoothie when they’re not even busy

Had the salmon bagel and a cappuccino for take away, both were excellent.

$7 for a small oatmeal packet they microwave in front of you. Toppings were good with banana but definitely not worth the price.

They got my coffee order wrong (regular iced latte) even after I corrected the cashier (i could tell she misheard me the first time). When I was inevitably served my wrong order, they didn't even offer to remake it. They just insisted that's what I ordered. Also, for 9 dollars, I expected something fresher than a microwaved egg on gas station bread. People seem to love the bowls here, so maybe steer clear of the sandwiches.

Sweet little hidden gem in a clean neighborhood. This place surprised me with delicious acai bowls, great sandwiches and salads, and flavorful smoothies. The coffee was on point too!
Parking: There was paid street parking that was fairly easy to find early Friday afternoon. That being said, it seems that isn't necessarily an abundance of parking for busier times on the main street. Side streets may offer more options with a short walk.
