In 2012, my boyfriend took me to Julia's empanadas for dinner. I'd never had an empanada but he ordered the Chilean for me and I was hooked! This place is amazing! I always order the fruit empanadas! You can not go wrong with this place. I ordered the fruit empanadas for my office staff and now they are placing their own personal orders buying them by the dozen. This place is awesome and so underrated. If you want a fantastic meal and a delicious dessert try this iconic restaurant in Washington DC. It is truly a hidden gem! Simply the best!
I was patronizing another restaurant on the block when I saw Julia’s empanadas from across the street. I decided to give them a try, and I’m glad I did. Alex was helpful in helping me select some empanadas that he personally enjoyed. I ended up walking out of the store with 5 different empanadas.
