Solid ramen location. No complaints from me!
Best time of my life. I will be back.
Food was fine but very upset that a 22% gratuity was added when it’s not posted on the menu or the website. The group was not a party of 6 either, it was a party of 5 with a split check.
Great atmosphere, great ramen and cool bar underneath the main restaurant. Tonkotsu ramen with extra spice is my go to. Meat is seasoned well and drinks are fairly priced for D.C.. Random anime are always on the TVs so great for your kids and avid anime fans, also funko pops for sale.
Favorite DC ramen spot!
I live in NYC. There are at least 15 Ramen spots within a mile, just on my side of Central Park. This is the best ramen I’ve ever had. The broth is better than any other I’ve tasted. The friends who took me here swear by this place and eat there all the time.
Speakeasy is cool and the vibe is pretty awesome. Drinks were priced okay too but they charge 20% gratuity and it was not listed on the drink menu.
A great vibe, a great atmosphere, great food, drinks, music and a great time.
Cool atmosphere but only okay ramen.
Absolutely the best Ramen in Town!

They posted an ad in Craigslist saying they do not give overtime pay. Now, it's POSSIBLE that they meant overtime hours aren't available, but the wording is suspicious. Maybe a report to the labor board might clear things up.

I love Kaiju Ramen and have been going for years to get a taste of their Tonkatsu Ramu and sushi. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great and the drinks are also something I very much look forward to.
I had to give then 3🌟 however ad the in-house service has been on and off. There have been times during the day when their service is second to none, but there has been times during later in the evening when time is winding down and the service becomes extremely lackluster and disinterested. The latter also extends to orders on UberEats. Twice I've ordered my regular Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen with an added on +chicken leg and twice they've neglected to include it. That leads to the inconvenience of having to deal with Ubereats customer service to receive a partial refund, and when I try to call the restaurant to express myself the phone is always inoperable. The food also takes a hit in quality.
I'll still eat at Kaiju, however I would recommend dining in ad opposed to delivery.

I didn’t like the self service aspect. All our food was served in to go containers which is super wasteful because we ate there. Food was okay.

Ordered from here off Uber Eats tonight. My ramen arrived with very little broth, and the extra egg I ordered wasn't there. There were also only a few very small slices of pork in the ramen.
I tried calling the restaurant to ask for more broth and to see if they would fix the order. An automated system answered and I pressed a prompt to request a call back from customer service. I never got the call back and ended up eating cold ramen noodles, pork, and toppings.
