Terrible customer service and business practices
My husband and I patiently waited over 50 mins for 6 small wings and 3 tacos. We watched over 50 people get their orders who ordered after us. Staff / management did not communicate that the order would take forever and did not care about our wait. When I went to the window to inquire about order - after speaking to a guy waiting beside us who said he was waiting a a long time too and was after us - the staff said it would be 4 minutes. Of course the 49th person after us got his meal and it still took another 10 minutes for us to receive ours. Even after that long wait, the order was incorrect so I had to request a refund. The lady who processes the refund didn’t have the slightest care in the world, didn’t offer anything tangible or apologetic for the inconvenience, or even the least bit of an explanation besides wings take a bit longer. Ridiculous because wings should not take 50 mins at a festival from a food truck.
I didn’t come to this festival with the limited time I allocated to stare at Kam and 46 employees and their food truck all day, and starve.
I supported Kam and 46 by spending $40 for 3 waters and “appetizers/small bites”. But will never do so again as they will treat you or “some of us” like ____.

I've visited the Kam and 46 food truck before so I was excited to see that they now have a stand in Rosslyn! My Mom and I ordered Lumpia (this is regular sized, not Shanghai), Loco Moco, Pulehu Chicken, and Tropical Cake. Highly recommend the chicken and cake.
The lumpia was good but tasted like a typical spring roll. You get 2 for $6.95. The Loco Moco was too salty and I prefer the version with hamburger and gravy. This had short ribs and very little sauce. The chicken was amazing! Fresh from the BBQ, it took longer than the other food but was worth the wait! The cake was also fabulous! It's a tiny piece but it's so flavorful that you don't need more than one for two people. The macaroni salad that comes with the dishes was perfect.
Kam and 46 is a great addition to Rosslyn! I hope they change up their dishes periodically so we can try new things.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all!
I ordered tuna tartare, and asked if aioli is spicy. The young attendant had a very inaudible voice. I asked for sauce on the side because I had kids. She continues to put sauce on the food. And then asks if I want extra sauce on the side.
I explain that kids don’t necessarily like sauce and I asked for sauce on the side. Not extra sauce on the side, no sauce on the plate and sauce on the side. She just smiled like she did nothing wrong. Never again.
Their communication skills are lacking for a customer faced business. FAIL.

I really enjoy coming here! The food is amazing and the people are so inviting! The tuna tare-tare nachos melts in your mouth with so much flavor. The loco moco is so rich and has that authentic taste. Vanessa + Elaine continue to create amazing dishes to add to their menu of goodness. Make a stop here and check them out!

After a last-minute venue change, Kam & 46 worked with us at the last minute to cater a 75-person event. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and worked with our budget and dietary needs to make the event a success. And the food was great!! I highly recommend them for catering needs.

I just really enjoy everything on their menu. Today I tried the wings, it was moist on the inside and just the perfect crunched on the outside. Drizzled with calamansi sauce ... i'm drooling thinking about it. Stop by and try their loco moco, lumpia, or a vegetarian dish!
The burger was soooo amazing!!!!

Great food and the Hawaii and Filipino fusion is a nice change from more common food truck. The chicken adobo and pork plates were fantastic. The fries are a great snack. Wish they had a vegetarian entree.

We love Kam and 46 and are lucky enough to live near many of the places where their food truck operates - but Kam and 46 pulled out ALL of the stops when we asked them to cater our welcome party for our wedding at the Mess Hall in NE DC! Kam and 46 set up an incredible menu for us including ahi tuna nachos (to die for), lumpia, noodles and ube bread pudding for dessert - honestly it blew the actual wedding meal out of the water by a long shot, it was all anyone could talk about. Elaine and Vanessa are wonderful - and we love seeing them around DC! Enjoy their food truck but also reach out for events, they did an incredible (and DELICIOUS) job!

I'm not sure a food truck can get 5 stars...This was average food truck grub.
I’m going to say it: this is the best food truck I think I’ve ever been to. The food was fresh, authentic, and plentiful. I have already started plotting out their next location. And the mac salad? Amazing.

I'm very disappointed. Cookie, Kahlua pork & fries order. Waited over an hour, got my order and it was light as air. Portions were not worth $35 for the order. I will make sure I let everyone know.
Vanessa and Elaine provided an amazing spread for our wedding's welcome dinner (80ppl). Everyone was able to get their fill and then some once we brought out the haupia pie and bread pudding. Even friends who are a bit particular about food, kept piling serving after serving onto their plate.Highlights of the favorites:Pipikaula RibsLechon KawaliCorn SaladNotes from one filipino to the next, unless your guests are mostly filipino, expect 1.5 lumpia consumed per person instead of 2.
