Kappo was such a great experience. You can tell a lot of care goes into each course. The wagyu was incredible, and the pacing of the meal made it easy to just relax and enjoy it. It’s an intimate space, but doesn’t feel too loud or crowded. Definitely a spot I’d go back to for a special night out.
I am not sure what the negative reviews are about. Do you realize how expensive it is to lease a space in DC??? For the price point...the food and service are beyond expectations. I was quite full and satisfied at the end. I will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful experience at Kappo DC. We’ve been fortunate to enjoy omakase dining in many places over the years, and this one truly stood out. The chef was incredibly thoughtful and precise, and it was a pleasure watching each course come together. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout the evening was excellent. Every detail felt intentional, from the pacing of the meal to the warm hospitality.
