It’s truly astounding how bad this place is, given that it’s part of the Kennedy Center. What an embarrassment.

Nice place to eat but very expensive. Water is $6.18/bottle. I picked up 2 bottles, a sandwich (premade), bag of chips $32.00. Next time I will bring my own food and enjoy the atmosphere

Everything is okay, nothing is great. The food is overpriced for what it is. Go to the Kennedy center for the shows, not the food.

OK. Very convenient for Kennedy Center. Good for kids. Expensive but not insane. Cafeteria style serve yourself. Lots of options. Easy seating.
Kid-friendliness: Mac and cheese and various desert options.
The sandwiches are very overpriced for the quality - I got a chicken pesto sandwich that had no pesto and barely any cheese. The hot food portions seem much more appropriate for the price, and the coffee bar is also nice.

I was so disappointed in this cafe. It was so overpriced and it didn’t even attempt to be anything other than mediocre. It was in your face. Have a twenty dollar slop of crusty Mac and cheese. There are so many ways they could make this experience better. It was such an in your face money grab. Very disappointed.

I had the pleasure of dining at the KC Cafe at the Kennedy Center recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking view of the Potomac River and the iconic DC skyline. The restaurant's location within the Kennedy Center provides a unique and unparalleled backdrop for any meal.Speaking of the menu, the culinary offerings at KC Cafe are a true delight for the senses. The selection of dishes showcased a fusion of flavors, blending traditional American cuisine with international influences. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The dessert selection was equally impressive, with indulgent options like the chocolate fondant and the crème brûlée. They were the perfect sweet conclusion to an already unforgettable meal.In summary, the KC Cafe at the Kennedy Center is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. The combination of breathtaking views, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience in Washington, D.C. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this establishment deserves a spot on your culinary bucket list.

Food selection is not the best and food is overpriced and average at best. The view is absolutely spectacular of the city, and was very convenient to grab a quick bite before the show.
Disappointed that I couldn't find something that was reasonably priced for dinner. They offer lots of snacksThought I'd get a sandwich, but they really looked plain and not good, especially for the price. All the good looking food was crazy expensive - $27 for cafeteria food? (Did look good, though! )That being said, the staff offered me a sample of the soup, tomato cream maybe. Very yummy. I'd order that again!
